Is this a Mini or a Defender

Doesn't mean the finished product will look like this, otherwise it would be a launch. Think of all the other wacky concept vehicles you have seen. Although I wouldn't hold out much hope of a continuation of the Landrover gene.

What has happened to all the Landrover tooling, has that been shipped to India?

Are the Santanas still made in Spain? Would have thought they might have jumped in here and purchased all the tooling etc. I have one of their LT85 gearboxes on my V8, noisy but strong. That is where Land Rover started going wrong in my view. They changed the Defender and Range Rover gear boxes so that ladies could change gear easier taking the kids to school and the boxes they put in were not up to the extra power the engines were producing.

I think that the main concern is to design it within the E U specifications which are very stringent and cause all vehicles of the same type to look similar. I think Land Rover would like to design a pick up type but it will not carry sufficient passengers. I have seen many prototypes over my many years starting at the Rover Car Companies jet engined car reg no Jet 1 which I think was code name the spider and entered in Le Manns. Over to the Massive to be corrected????
