Fatcatsplat
Anyone tried one yet? Mrs FCS managed to get a couple in Morrisons this afternoon. They sound quite promising and actually have pork and vinegar in, which are correct for a vindaloo. http://www.independent.co.uk/life-style/food-and-drink/morrisons-curry-hottest-spiciest-vindaloo-volcanic-buy-shops-a7992986.html
Gordon R
Local Morrisons have sold out. A few of my son's friends have been trying to buy some. Iceland sell some decent curries, but tried one of their own volcanic curries a few years ago. Mega hot - bit too much for me and I normally have chicken vindaloo. Ollieollie
If I had one I'd be in a right mess, can't handle the chilli anymore. Was once a hardcore chilli man but no longer
ditchman
i see no pleasure in eating one of them and in the morning...one finds oneself giving birth to a succession of lit RNLI distress flares....

39TDS
Missus grew some Calorina Reaper chilli and put one in a curry last night. Jeepers!!
Flashman
Judging by the comments on here, the marketing has been hugely successful. It's a cheap supermarket's ready meal, so I don't know what you're expecting above the nornal mediocre quality but hotter. However, pandering to the flaming hot brigade has produced lots of chatter, so well done the PR boys.

Agreed on the PR side, but it's genuinely very good - The gravy is excellent and it doesn't taste artificial like most supermarkets curries do whether they are a "cheap supermarket" or not
guzzicat
Two recommendations, 1 put loo roll in fridge the night before, or, if results more severe I find a piece of damp rabbit fur satisfactory.

Lord Geordie
I find a LOT of the cheaper shop curries can be improved with just the addition of fresh coriander. As for Icelands curries. The £1.50 range "just the curry and not inc rice" is actually quite good. Again fresh coriander makes a huge difference. I have a couple of good curry houses local to me but I rarely use them as the cost of a curry in a restaurant is cost prohibitive if it's a proper meal out, I am talking around £70 for a meal with wine for two. figgy
She can do water with ice and lemon, much cheaper. I like a little heat but too hot and I can’t taste anything and even warm food feels hot like molten metal, no fun at all. Madras or Jalfriezi is my limit heat wise.
