gamekeeper1960
After a break of five years (and and it doesn't feel only a matter of months ) and after spending a large sum of money building a new shed I've started making some sticks again, and have made this one for a friend of mines son for a christmas present and I'm glad so far how it's turned out.I must admit it had me worried after a long time away from making them if I was still up to the job..so I'd glad to get some feedback backnow from you guys... I enjoy watching my old stickmaker friend at work. All his stick blanks come out of Norfolk. Myself I am useless with a piece of wood. Keep up the good work and plenty of pics. malmick
I'm glad that your good lady got you to post more photos, your workmanship and artistry are excellent. What type of paint do you use, how durable is it for day to day wear and tear and do you use something like a satin or matt varnish over it?
