Mice!
grab 5 people squeeze into a cupboard, have one of them stand on you, another spill something on you, one give you a dig, play some music loud enough so you can't hear each other, there saved you the hassle, if we go out mad Friday new years eve we just go early leave early and get a ruby murry on the way home, that we ordered on the way out. That should read when we went out before we had kids ?

Dougy
Can't stand the nightlife nowadays, you where unlucky if it ended up in a punch up, even worse a kicking when you were down. Been there on both sides, 10 - 15 pints a night, having beer spilt on your best clothes (my day you used to get dressed up) far burns on your clothes too.. Now I just enjoy a quiet couple of beers in the local, avoid the drunken youngster type super man, although a few do get in my local but are quite respectful. They didn't realise that the old cogers used to get up to more than they do. LOL

Burnley was by far the worst people trying to punch you, Manchester they would just come back with Guns and try to shoot you.. I was shot at twice in Manchester all on NYE for not letting drunks in..now I just sit on my sofa with the open fire and a few beers with the Mrs and dog...mad Friday used to be a laugh but it only took one incident to ruin the whole night..
