Howling Hound
Driving home tonight I was following a new AUDI. It had an orange flashing light on its rear end. I have never seen one of these on an AUDI before. Anyone any ideas what it could be? is it a new feature for AUDI's
bornfree
Never seen it on an Audi or BMW. Are you sure you weren't dreaming

BaconBoy
Warning:you are following an audi and i can,and probably will, drive like an absolute tool, any i might even engage the onboard 'tosspot' button just to really annoy everybody else on the road
figgy
Was It the new directional indicators that work in a line showing the direction. Quite clever and I'm sure soon to be copied by other car makers.
Westward
It was probably a direction indicator signalling that the driver intended to make a turn. Most vehicles have these as standard but they are very rare and expensive expensive optional extras on Audi, BMW and Mercedes which is why you haven't seen it before. wingnut
1st thing i asked to see when i bought the BMW 730d to replace the blown up Touareg was how the indicators worked, the salesman didn't have a clue, Classic.
silver pigeon69
Probably the light on the recovery vehicle that was towing it!
Brodie
Audi have started something. Volvo are to fit them to all new models.
Westward
Some might prefer it if Audi stopped charging massive extra money for features that are standard on most other vehicles in the class rather than adding tacky LEDs all over the place. buze
Actually there is a button to turn them on the car, but if you use it, men in black come to your house, beat you up, and replace your AUDI with the equivalent Volkswagen. That why AUDi owners are so wary of that button. Have a little prayer for that poor guy you followed earlier!
zipdog
It was probably an escort vehicle, that had it turned on by mistake.
