KOFS Shotguns

Just bought my granddaughter (13) a Kofs sceptre youth. Highly recommended by the clay shoot we attend. It’s a 20 bore with 26” barrels. Seems quite light and with the short stock/short barrels appears well balanced. I certainly would not say the build is poor, I’ve owned rather more expensive guns with a worse build quality. The Turkish guns have improved vastly in recent times and I think they are going to eat into the established builder quite noticeably - a point that will not have escaped the establishment. Bought from Chris Potter Tunbridge Wells

Does anyone own one, are they any good or just cheap ****

Im looking for something for my mrs to shoot clays with, I have looked used but alot of stuff is battered and ideally id like something multi choke

they look the part on the adverts and seem good value for under £500 new

Cheers

Bit late I know but my lad had used one for around 2 year and gets on very well with it. Hes 12 and it 20g and hes shooting on average 50-60% of targets at well known cpsa registered 100 bird comps in north east area.

Have a 28bore and 410 Kofs. I've had some nice Browning's, Berrettas ect over the years, but have got to admit I now like the little Kofs best. Seems to fit perfect, patterns beautifully, and look fine.

Brilliant value

I have a 12 bore listed in sales if anyone is interested?

My two penneth. Of the budget Turkish small bores, I like Yildiz more than the rest. They cost a little more, but appear better made. I bought a used 410 about 3 years ago. It had done some work before I bought it and I’ve put about 4,000 cart’s through it. Still going strong. Very impressed with its quality.

Here we go again...................................

Not me pal, I'll leave it at, I've a gun listed for sale. Judge it, buy it, or ignore it.

I've decided on a new Beretta Ultraleggero fitted.

Due to age and disability I can only now use a very light gun and don't wish to change from 12 bore.  KOFs, and Beretta make the only 2 viable options for ME, and for ME, there's only ME that counts.

1, 2, 3, er more.

Beretta without a doubt will be the better option, for ME.

I’ve got a 12bore, traded in my betinsoli diamond for it. Finish is good for the price It’s a light gun ideal for walk up days and throwing about, stock was to high for me so I shaved the comb my self as it’s a cheap gun so fits alright  now. Recoil pad is hard so could do with changing

What prompted the change? The Diamond was getting absolutely rave reviews when it came out.

purchased  a 12 bore 2 months ago, only clay busting at present, bit rusty due to covid problems  but have hit more clays than with my usual choice of guns. (winchester  14 auto and a sbs ) . no problems, feels good, recoil not bad with standard 28g loads. came with 5chokes and spare springs. resale value not good but i aint selling it ever !!.
