It's is sad to say that I think in this case and of the others for the same incident, very little will be achieved, somewhere along the line these "******" will play the "race card" or the "we are from another little group card" and usually the police and the authorities are afraid of them.

If this sort of extortion continues firms will be barricading them selves in behind steel girders during the closed hours and looking for other solutions for during the working day.

Why the hell we in this lilly liberal country allow this terrible behavior from the minority of travellers I will never understand.

They need to be treated very firmly, rather than issuing a move on order and then waiting for the three weeks it has to run.

They make fools of the police, who are scared stiff of going anywhere near them.

They make a mockery of the law and courts.

They have no respect for 'normal' people, and precious little for themselves.

Keep pussyfooting around them, and they will just increase in number, the crimes will increase and become more violent.

Unfortunately Teflon Tony and his crew instigated that they were - and they take full advantage of it - They even list Irish Traveler as a group on NHS form these days.  Another thing he needs sorting for.

About time Government grew some and dealt out some kickass, not just to these oxygen thieves but any scrote upto no good regardless of race creed or colour. If here illegally make them pay their dues and boot them out.

I remember the test case, the dawn of the snowflake generation, when someone put a notice on the door of a pub , saying 'No travellers '
Someone got offended, and took it to court, won , and set the precedent.

Lets examine it sensibly.
What defines a traveller ?
Lifestyle? Plenty of people travel to work , tarmacing , building work ect. 
Living in a caravan? Again I know people who live in caravans or statics 365 days a year.
Ethnicity ? If you are a dark skinned person , who had Romany ancestors, fair enough, these type of gypsies are fairly rare these days, but are usually the best behaved.
Billy Sykes from York does not count, neither does Paddy O'hara from Ireland, as there ancestry can be traced back 5 generations to white Brit or Irish.
Despite the designation, they are not an 'ethnic' minority.
Language ? The art of barely opening your mouth to speak, and using slang words instead of plain English, could I suppose be considered a different language, but I can do it , and know plenty of their words, but if that makes you a minority, theres Geordie land, Norfolk and a multitude of area specific accents and slang words, we can all be minorities !

So if I buy a caravan, stick it on the back of a transit, tie a hankie round my neck and travel the country doing odd jobs, whilst muttering unintelligable rubbish and  pretending to be Irish ,can I be a traveller too ?
With protected status, flouting the law, park my trailer where I please, and dump rubbish all over the place, with no come back?
Rip the public off for sub standard work, using a casually threatening style.

Its a life on the road for me 😄

Recently jailed a gang around here and I'm beginning to recognise them from the last time they were sent away. They were responsible for half the burglaries in the county specialising in guns, cash and jewellery. Also caught 3 ram raiders with the usual names and another ram raid gang is on the loose so more L..., S..., and O... to get locked away once they catch them.

From another site.  South Cambridgeshire Police have raided an unauthorised encampment and recovered among other things 50 dogs now  with the RSPCA.  Meantime in East Lothian three men have been arrested following a clash near the A1 where shots were alleged to have been fired following a fracas involving three vehicles.
