Not good. Imagine if the same thing were to happen with domestic cats, or worse still dogs.

Just when governments across Europe are wishing to apply further lockdowns, but the general populace are tiring of this nonsense, along comes ..... Mutant Covid!

Doing their best to crank fear levels up to 11.

You don't believe the mink are being culled en mass? Strange China isn't reporting anything about it.

Yes, but from my limited understanding the issue is when it comes back out mutated and zoonotic?

WHo states that the mink version of the virus... "Preliminary findings indicate that this particular mink-associated variant identified in both minks and the 12 human cases has moderately decreased sensitivity to neutralizing antibodies.", which is to be expected from any virus mutation as the human antibodies don't recognise it as being COVID19 and the mink cull is pre-cautionary in nature.

Denmark Government is simply taking the oppertunity to get rid of mink farming and using COVID19 as a cover as there is no evidence that either mink or humans are being kiled or suffering significantly worse from the 'mutated' strain from the mink, rather than any other of the strains makng their way throught the human population.

Reading Reuters, they have known since June and there a similar cases in the Netherlands and Spain..☹️

I saw this on BBC online the other day. Didn't see any reports anywhere at the time,,,, did anyone else ? I'm sure it would have been highlighted somewhere, seeing as it's quite an unusual phenomenon 🤔
