strimmer_13
Just seen the gov is handing out compensation for mostly illegal items. Only thing I've noticed is it could get completely raped, they are offering a fixed (from what I make out) £160 for a scope. I've a £15 4x20, guess I'll have to hand it in. https://www.gov.uk/government/public...nsation-scheme £5k for a 308 lever action Edited December 10, 2020 by strimmer_13
Lloyd90
Surely you can only hand in optical sights for the £150 as part of handing in your LR rifle etc...

Remimax
how times have changed , we were offered £50 per rifle comp when the CF semi auto ban was enforced as i recall.
HW95J
Could be a nice earner flipping cheap mags 😂 Seriously though why should anyone hand in a scope? Nothing wrong in a legal sense with having a lot of that stuff. You get decent money for an optic but a few quid for a punching dagger? Seems the wrong way round thinking about apparent harm reduction. Pocket change going to convince gang members to hand in their stash of zombie knives? 🙄

rbrowning2
Few quid for a knife, against what a drug dealer probably makes, the queue will be miles long as they wait to hand them in.
