I doubt I’ll ever get in 😂. I like what you’ve been making dude 👍. Its just a job to me now .

That's quite often the problem with work , it can start as a passion,  then it just becomes a job.

As a kid , I loved engines , cars , motorbikes , outboards , lawnmowers , I loved it , but by the time that I'd spent fifteen years working as a mechanic,  I was sick of the things . I dislike cars so much now , that if my car had a flat tyre on the drive , I'd go to work in a taxi and get my mate to fit the spare for me 😅.

I've been having a bit of a love affair with wood for the last couple of years , I really love the rustic stuff , but I'm starting to like proper wood working . I might get myself to night school , and get a few real skills.

Shame you aren’t more local as we’d have a play at night in the shop . Always an option if we ever get rid of c19

You're definitely going to heaven now 😊

Id love those kind of wood working skills . If I made it , it would look like a hobbit house 😆.

Come on we all know they would look like bowls spoons and chopping boards with a few priests made from off cuts.

Nice work nath

Mel and Walker 570 have most of my decent off cuts for exactly that 😀

More coasters glued up ready to chop up .

I looked at the first photo and was impressed. As the photos progressed, the whole thing moved up a grade with every step. The end result is stunning. Well made and very well done.

Cheers Gordon . I think using oak makes it easier to look good .

How much did she pay you to ask that?

gunroom is nearly done but not the sash windows spare bedroom and she’s now added 2 bathrooms and a WC to the list. 🙈

I know it’s been 6 months at least since the phone call so guessed you’d be well on the way with it .
