HW110 anti tamper removal

Recommended Posts

Not a video I'd be making. As far as I'm aware, the 110's power issues were fixed after they changed a couple of the components after about a year/18 months of them being on the market. I had endless trouble with mine until it had those changes done, after that it's not missed a beat

Why not ? If it’s out of warranty what have you to lose even if it were still in warranty I’ve seen some of HC’s work and it ain’t pretty, some being sent back 2or3 times to get problem rectified so I’ll tackle it myself, at least I’ll have some degree of confidence in what I do

My mate just tested a brand new Hw100 in that green plastic stock. Told him to check the power before he bought it. 9ftlb, oh how I laughed until I chrond my brand new ultra  which was just over 10ftlb. The hw went back and not bought, I up'd my ultra thanks to videos like this

Hello, good video Sam and will help those who own a HW 110 on power loss, this has beset most if not all 110s since they were first sold, HW have fitted an inferior Hammer Spring, and while not admitting they did realise this could be a problem hence why most 110s still in warranty are going back to Hull Cartridge for repairs and those out of warranty going to HW 100 or other specialist air rifle repair shops, you need to read all the posts of different air rifle forums to get an idea of this, not including the poor service many are getting from Hull Cartridge having to pay out ££££ssss for a known faulty low power 110 they purchased, and those who bought second hand find they have no warranty even in the first year, buyers who purchased out of area are having to pay for shipping then RFD send to HC , I sent an Email to HW expressing my thoughts and asked why did the fit an inferior part, no comment but that does not help those who purchased a 110, and yes I did to 🤔🙄, cheers

most pathetic part is the info can be found several places with just one click plus side might send more chaps this way tired of being treated like children

I argued the point that at no time did I mention taking power above legal limit but to help people out with a common problem with these guns and my aim was to keep power levels at where they should be , to that they said “I was stupid and should move on “ , well that didn’t go down well , told him a few home truths and told him where to go , so I’m guessing I’m banned 🤔

Hull cartridge may see it ,do you think they’d offer me a job as sparse as my garage is on tooling I reckon I’ll still make a better job of it than some of their offerings 😂

I know every platform has rules , but I honestly didn’t think helping people broke them , when I uploaded it to you tube I clicked “ not suitable for under 18” so my part their was covered, I posted it in the technical page ,  may be that was the problem it was to technical for the mods to comprehend , but what really did it was when he called me stupid , now I never been one to lie just to make someone look good or feel better about themselves so I’m afraid he got both barrels , as for the ban their loss , life’s to short

Hello, from what I heard with other 110 owners and their dealings with HC I would say 👍, what we need is to find out where to buy that stripping tool for the hammer assembly to change the  spring ?

Yes well done for sharing.

I had a similar problem with a Daystate Huntsman Classic running at 9 foot pounds when I bought it, if it hadn't been for someone else uploading a similar video, I wouldn't have known what to do, now running at just over 11.

I also took the anti tamper out of my HW100 thanks to an uploaded video.

Its what its all about isn't it, helping each other out.👍

If I was still in my old job I’d have made one may put a few feelers out though

You’d like to think that helping people save money at such a time would be a good thing but the Gestapo at AGF think otherwise
