Not sure if anybody will find this interesting but just received an email from GOV.UK stating that due to a new treatment being available on the NHS I am to be sent a testing kit which I must then register the code, my name etc online. If I test positive at any point I can give this code and I will be treated with the existing anti viral plus this new one simultaneously, been sent to me as I am vulnerable. Anyone else had one of these?

Yes, my wife has also received the email, she is also in the vulnerable category.......not seen it ' advertised ' as such, and she was wary of a scam.

We all like a good moan, but it's nice to hear some positive comments. In all fairness whatever you say about boris and all the gaffs, overall the whole vaccine process has been a success. We should all applause the thousands of volunteers who have stepped up to ensure its success 👏

Entirely agree; I have posted positive comments about my first (vaccination centre), second (pharmacy), and booster (same vaccination centre as first) jabs, but to repeat, all have been done efficiently and easily, with minimal (minutes) waiting.  Well done all involved.

OH’s mother has been sent this. She can only assume it’s because she is on a course of steroids for an imminent hip replacement op’.
