samboy
Hi gang. Just got my yearly renewal price in at £670. Told them it was too dear and i could get it cheaper elsewhere and they asked how much cheaper so i told them and they matched i so i saved £223 for the price of a phone call. You have got to keep your eye on these rascals.

Bigbob
We where with direct line for year and they only discounted new members unless you phoned to complain so i move every year theres no loyalty discount now
joejoe
Mine was £750 for 2 cars and the house on a multi policy when my renewal came in. By far the cheapest I could get but still complained and got £80 off.

mgsontour
All insurance companies have to give repeat customers the same deal as a new sign up since 1st Jan so your existing insurer are now easier to manipulate

I still would have told them to swivel and gone elsewhere simply for trying to rob you in the 1st place, they still have your money, albeit less than their first grab from you wallet. Ive just renewed my insurance and saved £115 now down to £297 with the same cover as previous company.
paul1966
I'm with the AA and has gone up a tenner, i looked around and couldn't find it cheaper, in fact all were quite a bit more expensive so staying put.
