..........and if they don't get a medal, they certainly deserved it.

I am talking about the Met motorcyclists doing the Queens coffin escort into London tonight.  Sheer professional skill.

The Queen awarded the Victoria medal to  the coffin bearers for The Duke of Edingburgh, and various other awards and medals for others who undertook other roles, i would expect that Charles will also show his thanks in a similar way.

Their final action of the night and a touching sight,,,, hat's off to them 👍

The whole 'final journey' home was very emotional, and fully respected by the many thousands of people along the whole route. It was an emotional and tear- jerking 45 minutes 😥

Welcome home Ma'am !!!

I only saw it on the news late on, I think of London as being busy, frantic and plain ignorant,  last night looked nothing like that as the city stopped to pay there respect.

Very touching.

Totally agree with all the above.

I sincerely hope that the pall bearers are given some sort of recognition, absolute perfection at all the various venues they attended, the pressure of this task is beyond the imagination of us mere mortals and they carried it out superbly.
