the closest ive ever been to sampling an oyster....is waking up in the morning...having a fag and a cup of tea on a really phlemy chest ....having a good cough....rolling a large gobbit of phlem aroind and letting it go in the kitchen sink

and that is all done without a squeeze of lemon...or a lardi-da glass of porter

oysters start off as cute little mollusqes......that get and infection on their chest and spend the next 7 years coughing up gunk into their shell until someone comes along cuts them open and gobbles them all up

its the chinese/ british equivilent of corvid bat soup

I like them 😊

have been known to eat them straight from the dredge in the past 😂

but I’ll eat whelks and jellied eels too 😊
