harrycatcat1
This is not a thread to wind ditchman up. A mate of mine was going to the NHS dentist last November and said do you want me to put your name on the waiting list? I said might as well not thinking that I'd get in. I've had to go private for 7 years since finishing work. House phone rang this morning inviting me to join the dentist on NHS, I was so gobsmacked at getting in I forgot to ask if my Mrs could go on the list. I have just rung up for her to ask and they have now closed the list 🙄🙄

And me , we had a dentist who just recently opened in North Walsham , this was mainly private but stating they would take a few N H S people as well , there was a online form to fill up which I did and in the paper it said over 500 applied within days , needless to say I haven't heard a thing . oowee
Here there are none unless your under 18. Yesterday I drove to a dental specialist in Portishead and paid £1700 to be tortured for a couple of hours by mouth, drill and many fingers. Spent today on pain killers and amoxcillin. One dentist said it's hard to think we enjoy doing this. I replied it's even harder to think I am paying for the privilege.

dipper
About this time last year went for a meal with my daughter .Had steak it was tough sent it back had something else. When I got home had a drink and 4 teeth dropped out.Had a 3 tooth bridge next to a root canal they’d been ina long time .Went to a private dentist it was a long process backwards and forwards and very very expensive.I could have had a full mouth of implants abroad for a lot less money. Only two weeks ago I took out one of my front teeth out that was loose , since they took me off the books I must have took out at least half a dozen , at the moment the few I have left are pretty firm but so were the ones that became loose and after pushing them about with your tongue until with a gentle pull then the loose one was no longer a part of my jaw , I would have thought that if I live long enough then in two or three years time I ain't going to have any teeth left , any ideas ?
