If the trial's do not go through due process, whatever the outcome, then that is not democracy. There are still many hurdles to completion of due process (Judge Cannon being one of them). Either he could pardon his conduct or if the body guard shot Joe them it woulddo everyone a favour and reset the job to find a suitable candidate.
