The crazy thing is it's all so simple to solve, the UK government needs to accept that normal working people and their concerns have been ignored for too long, return any boats to France, deport any immigrants with obviously spurious asylum claims or criminal behaviour and set up some legal routes to accept a sensible number of genuine, vetted, refugees and make a points style system for talented immigration, for people who share our views and want to contribute to our society and welcome them in.

We need to be surrounded by water, that way it would be easier to protect our borders 🤔🤔

It should be simple, gun boats in the channel,  everything stops, stop bending over to the French.

What really annoys me with all this is it's all so predictable. As much as I dislike Musk (especially after his stunt with those kids in the Thi caves) he's got a point with his remark about the UK and civil war, although I don't believe it's inevitable, just highly likely if action by UK government isn't taken.

I despise watching young kids throw their futures away as they're manipulated by the far right to do their bidding. I hate watching previously decent people with reasonable and moderate views turn to the far right as their genuine concerns are ignored by both main parties. I hate watching extremist migrants, who do not share our values, abuse our generous benefit system and commit crime (particularly serious crime) on the UK population.

They can't, they abide strictly to their WEF masters demands (supported by King Charles).  We are in no way a Democracy.

None as blind as those who will not or can not see.

I won't watch it until he pays what he is supposed to after being found guilty for libel in a British Court.

Does that help you or was it just a statement about visual acuity and nothing about the thread?

We are living in the land of being blindfolded and silenced for our beliefs, not a good place to be.

What beliefs do you mean? Surely there are some beliefs that we cannot tolerate?

My beliefs are obviously very different from yours and I  stand by them. I am seeing my once beautiful country being turned into no go areas and women afraid to walk the streets and assured of recieving a total lack of assistance from our once brilliant police force if needed. I  am not ashamed of wanting to return to a country where I  grew up feeling safe and full of promise. That has now gone for future generations but if you think that is acceptable so be it.

Musk has a thing about civil wars and coups. He’s more likely to succeed in Venezuela than he is here.

Absolutely agreed. Personally speaking, I view him as an attention grabbing grifter.

Not really you need a 🐓

This is where you loose credibility, Lucy Letby and many women before her have murdered children and while the legal definition of rape takes a man's genitalia to complete the offence (although defining what a man is these days is becoming problematic), there are many cases of women sexuauly assaulting both men and children that is no less serious.

If you want to have a serious conversation I concede that the vast majority of offenders are male, but then that brings us in a full circle to where this conversation started where 100 miles away alluded to the fact the vast majority of grooming gangs are not formed by people of British origin.

Give over Henry.

The stats show a massive pro rata distortion. Similar distortions exist for benefit claimants, convicted criminals and for the prison population and they’re not all doctors and dentists.
