JohnfromUK
I had to do an early dog walk in the dark today as groceries delivery due early .......... and since it included a few 'breakfasty items', it seemed natural, logical and satisfying to make a light (but nourishing) breakfast.ย No eggs - as I don't eat eggs. JKD
Looks great ๐ but,,,, [there's always a but !] personal taste - take off the tomato, black pudding and bubble, and substitute for a couple of poached eggs and some buttered fresh bread ๐๐ Does look nice though ๐ซก

dainty duck
not in the slightest Harry , we lived in a two up two down and my brother and I shared a double bed , one particular evening supper was baked beans on toast , which I did not fancy and only ate a small amount , my older brother was delighted to eat the lot which resulted in him throwing up all over the bed and me ! when the light was switched onย the beans were still of the same shape and constituency as they had been before he devoured them but a very different stench! maybe something you would think about when you next eat beans Harry ! Bon Appetitย

I haven't had a breakfast like that for ages , possibly years , when I look back we had a full English virtually every Sunday morning then a few hours later we had a roast dinner , money wise we most likely had less in those days than what we have got now and throughout life we always gave food a priority , now I can afford a full breakfastย , it not very often I fancy something like that but I must admit it do look nice .ย ย ย MM

Wow , and I thought we lived well , we certainly didn't have Black pudding , devilled kidneys and kedgeree , whatever that is , ours consisted of Danish bacon , fresh eggs , home grown tomatoes , or my dad had tin ones , fried bread , marsh mushrooms with the odd sausage and some Heinz beans ,washed down with a strong cup of tea. Kippers , Bloaters and Herring were for tea , we were not that well offย
