Vince Green
The Polish prime minister Donald Tusk has said that Russia is facilitating illegal migration (both openly and behind the scenes) in order to destabilise the EU I don't think he is wrong, why would he say that if he didn't believe it was true? Also funding far right parties across Europe. Massive media campaign to amplify division regarding migrants and stoke discontent. Trying to bomb airlines in UK and Germany. Setting fire to production facilities in UK associated with Ukraine.

Clearly everything right of the right (Braverman) is far right. Exactly where Russian money is going. 😇

It's the Russian view that matters and Farage appears to be the point for support and to sow the seeds of discontent. If there was a far left group (there may well be) then I am sure Russia would fund that too.

Far right far left just depends where you stand. No evidence of funding to his pocket if that is what you mean by bank rolling. His message on refugees and Ukraine (war started by the west) is certainly amplified (sponsored) by Russia RT and X. There is also the close connections to Trump, on the same message, promoted by Russia. Farage on the Carlson show amplified by Russia. Farage supporting Orban (clearly on the payroll) at the National Conservative conference. All three touch points playing of the Russian playbook. Farage, Orban, Trump are all tools in the Russian propaganda exercise.

Why doesnt he supply some proof for it then ? Its alright saying something, and even believing it to be true, but when heads of state throw these accusations around, they need to back it up with facts. I could say that France is facilitating illegal migration (both openly and behind the scenes) in order to destabilise the UK, and it would have more basis in fact than Mr Tusks assessment. 5 hours ago, oowee said: Also funding far right parties across Europe. Massive media campaign to amplify division regarding migrants and stoke discontent. Again, literally no proof of this whatsoever besides some vague reference to organisations that no ones heard of. I dont need ANY media organisation to tell me about migrants and discontent, I just need to walk through my city centre. Just because we are born and bred to hate Russia, doesnt mean we can blame everything wrong within western society on them. Its distraction politics. 3 hours ago, JohnfromUK said: belarus has been doing that along the Polish border for a long time; And rather unlike the red carpet we put out for Channel migrants from France, the Polish army stands behind a razor wire fence with rifles pointed at them. Momentum, socialist workers party to name just a few, who funds them ? The obsession with the 'far right' is pathetic, and again, a distraction from what is really going on. 1 hour ago, welsh1 said: Why do you believe farage is far right? and do you have proof that russia is bank rolling him? Raja Clavata
Currently reading a national populism book co-authored by Matt Goodwin, he asserts two right wing “labels” - radical right and extreme right. I don’t know if it helps the discussions here but it helped me avoid lumping everyone on the right in the far right bucket…

Russian amplification for political ends matters. Russia is amplifying, with the use of Trolls and Bots, the messages of Farage, Trump, Orban and Carlson, to destabilise the West. What organisations have you never heard of? Momentum, Socialist Workers party 🤪 when did you last hear from them? I doubt they even have a message to amplify. Anything that amplify's an issue in the West. Unfortunately many take on board the propaganda.
