I'm not sure what your point is, fox hunting with hounds is already gone and if anyone thinks it will come back, I think they're delusional.

yes you are right but you think they wont come after driven shooting because the public don't mind but you are wrong as been said ounce they have put final nail in the coffin of Fox hunting they will turn to driven shooting then fishing and probably Hawking

They may well do, but that doesn't change the fact hunting fox with hounds is now illegal. Anyone flouting that ban is a criminal. I don't think shooters should be seen to be attempting to block legislation designed to stop criminals getting away with an illegal activity and doing so certainly isn't going to protect any type of shooting. I would argue it will achieve the opposite.

I've got no bug up my ;;;;. I'm stating a fact. Hunting fox with hounds is illegal, anyone still doing it is a criminal and it's never coming back. 

What exactly are you wanting to stick together on regarding fox hunting?

I feel zero affinity with hounds and horses chasing an animal to exhaustion then killing it inhumanely after it was made illegal. IF the arrogant shenanigans weren't being done I suspect there would be less action about hunting in general.

Dave, they celebrate each and every hunt that stops, every shoot that stops, every clay ground that closes. There's an awful lot on here and up and down the country that think they wont be on the list. 

I was never against the hunt, but things changed, the chase was just that, if the fox got away then that should have been the end. 

Arrogant attitude from the huntsmen (not PC but ?) the way we had been spoken to changed my views and i stopped following the Meynel, the continued total disregard of the law again and again they  deserve what, unfortunately do not receive.  

But dont think the Anti gang wont continue with the rest of their agenda.

By shtupitly leaving the fox remains to be found and keeping in mind sabs and almost everyone has mobile phone cameras or camcorders to record evidence: they really are their own enemies who drag all country pursuits down with them.

I'm a fan of fox hunting , but even I can see that the fox hunting fraternity are causing their own problems.

Never said sticking  together  with Fox hunting I said you got to stick together  with shooting  in general you seem to think  that the anti  brigade will leave driven shooting  alone because  you said the public  don't mind as much

In that case we're in agreement. Shooters should absolutely be sticking together. 

Imo your also right the anti brigade will be after driven shooting, but there's no change there, they already are and always have been. I believe there's a huge difference between hunting fox with hounds and driven shooting, first and foremost is the perception of the public. It's comparing apples and oranges.

I'm not a fan of fox hunts.

I shoot them in lambing season.

I'm not against the actual hunts.

But I prefer to kill a fox humanely.
