Hello, Will she get rid of the Single persons Council tax allowance ??

She may, but I think what she is really after stealing is peoples savings.

The Labour party hate people who have 'independence' from the State.  Things like private pensions, ISAs and savings give them independence.  There is a VAST pot of money outside the control of the state, owned by millions of Joe Publics and controlled by 'the City' mainly in funds for pensions, life assurances and savings etc.

Labour see that as wrong and all (significant) money should really be controlled by the State.

Give it 10 years at the current rate of decline and the UK will be like a wind blown dried leaf?

Apple likely to go, every thing else sacrificed to the cause?

Thankfully I'm old.

Gov't will have to back down over Apple.  IF they 'won' and Apple gave them a means to read the hidden data, the crooks would know that and simply move the data and use another service/method to store it.

In no time there would be no data to collect - and the USA with the likes of Trump and Musk in the driving seat will not take hitting a major USA company lightly.

Exactly, anyone trying to hide stuff, would just move to another platform, it would hit apple hard.

We all know that in political post on here we are discussing the puppets and our anger should be aimed at the puppet masters. I pray that if reform win the next election, it will immediately  get rid of these very uncivil leftie servants that are wrecking our country with their steerage of the said puppets.

Trump saw through this well in advance of his inauguration and was ready from day one with his new hand picked fresh background staff. Let's hope Nigel will do the same. It is obvious that the spokesmen(MPs) know nothing or very little about their designated titles and have to resort to advised specialist. Ultimately  the back room staff need to have lots more knowledge than the delivery men.

It is also important that we have Mps in place that care for our country and not for their own wealth.

From Auntie.

She already has. I gather gains made from cryptocurrency in the UK will require taxation at the point of your crypto asset disposal. This will amount to paying any of the the three following amounts, 18%, 24% or up to 45% depending on the amount, volume, and nature of your crypto transactions.

Mandatory reporting compliance of all crypto transactions to the hrmc by crypto asset providers (crypto platforms operating in the uk) of the persons personal details will be provided from Dec 2026 directly to the hmrc. For crypro holders this means when you hold or transact crypto on a uk platform, your name, adress, dob, and your crypto transactions/crypto assets will be reported directly by the platform to hmrc each year.

Comes under the recently updated "CARF" legislation (crypto asset reporting framework)

And there lays the problem.....getting rid of the toxic traitorous cilvil servants will be like (borrowing a phrase) ..."removing an Alabama tick"
