Wow a gold star contender , you always said the simple way is the best to go , I do agree with that , the only thing I am not keen on is Morrisons bread , I buy there packet of cheese rolls and they go hard within a day and mouldy after two or three days , same with there bread , alright on the day you buy it but the following day it go as hard as a rock , come to that most of the supermarkets bread is the same , even M + S and Waitrose , although Waitrose keep longer than most of the others. MM NEVER had a problem, keeps for quite a while, but is usually eaten before it gets to that stage. Do you keep your bread in the fridge? I do and very cold, NEVER get mouldy bread. No , I have never kept my bread in the fridge , I have got a plastic bread container that is supposed to keep the bread fresh , I very rarely buy reduced bread , although having said that I did buy a round cheese and onion tear and share loaf from Waitrose yesterday afternoon that had just been reduced from £3 something to half price , this is lovely and have nearly all gone so it wouldn't get the chance to go hard as it will be gone by mid morning tomorrow . For me, red flags go to liver, shellfish, game meat, beer (inc non alcoholic), sweet fizzy drinks, anything sweetened with fructose or HFCS. Followed by pollock fillets done in the air fryer and roasties. I had some peppers and onions on the fridge so fried them off too. Was a fantastic dinner.
