I have just looked through my emails and found tickets from 2 years back, the cost has increased by 175% thats a fair increase. Understanding that this may be impacted by the NEC costs but a fair increase must also be from the show organisers, who will still make a fair amount of profit from people who will continue to use the show's.

They will, just like the poor old Country Shows and Fairs depend on "CONNING" new customers, most who have been caught out once will NEVER return.

Not many country shows compared to years back, but i must say the Staking show seems far more grass roots level. Cost for entry is worlds away from the shooting show fee.

Hello, As above, Must be difficult for the Small Business or Company as Paul stated the stand costing now so it looks like the major big companies can afford to pay, I did go to the Game Fair a few years back but on a free ticket same as at Blenheim, As many on here say you could not beat the Game Fairs of years past, I did try a Mini Game Fair at Highclere near Newbury but that was a complete waste of time, The Newbury Show in September is worth a look as is the Uffington White Horse Show, Saying this the Stalking Show in April look promising

depends what you make of it, if youre looking for big discounts and massive walls full of used guns dont bother. if you fancy a shooting related day out  its  £35.

i went last year and was a bit underwhelmed but im going again this year with mates because why not?.  as far as food goes eat before hand or they had a spoons and a subway on site which is normal prices

So you went and were "underwhelmed" but you'll go again?

Value for money is key to me.

shooting wise what can you doing for £35? round of 50 clays maybe? its a day out and a laugh with my mates.  i was only underwhelmed as it was billed as the great British shooting show and was expecting it would be a step above the northern shoot show which again is a day out if nothing else and free to me as a BASC member.  it was smaller with less stalls so i was disappointment, wont be this year as i know what im in for.

£40 gets me a hundred (birds only) at an ESP Reg Competition.

ah i see, with that logic  if you purchase your ticket now by the time the event is on youll not have to pay nowt and it will be free wont it?.  send that financial advice over to rachael reeve she thinks a bit like that  :D
