Red carp
Hi, who is going & is it worth going or waste of time & money?
TIGHTCHOKE
No, you'll not get anything cheaper than you can get online, the food will be awful and vastly expensive, parking will be a pain.
Dougy
I was going, BUT £35 to get in. No i wont be going. Stalking Show £15 and for me far more interesting and grass route level.
grahamch
Went a couple of years ago, thought was over priced and over rated. No real bargains and nothing to rummage about in.

Newbie to this
3 hours ago, Red carp said: I guess I won't bother then 😜 It is definitely not worth the new entry fee. I've only been once, and wouldn't bother again, it was an enjoyable day out, but for me, it was not worth the travelling. I can't remember what we paid but it was nowhere near £
Morkin
I went last year, And personally I JUST WOULD NOT BOTHER, like said no bargains at all , food is **** and expensive but a lot of shows are like that now.

Genghis
I went last year. I entered every competition they had going and ended up winning a £500 air rifle, which I immediately sold as I don’t shoot air rifles. I ended up making 10x my ticket price back. I thought the food was fairly good.
Rim Fire
The only good thing about is if your in the market to buy something like thermal you can try them out at the stalls same with shotguns rifles
Dougy
I have just looked through my emails and found tickets from 2 years back, the cost has increased by 175% thats a fair increase. Understanding that this may be impacted by the NEC costs but a fair increase must also be from the show organisers, who will still make a fair amount of profit from people who will continue to use the show's. They will, just like the poor old Country Shows and Fairs depend on "CONNING" new customers, most who have been caught out once will NEVER return. Not many country shows compared to years back, but i must say the Staking show seems far more grass roots level. Cost for entry is worlds away from the shooting show fee. paul hart
I used to do this show last time I did it was 2017 stand then cost me £1395 now nearly £6000 that's a lot to get back.
oldypigeonpopper
Hello, As above, Must be difficult for the Small Business or Company as Paul stated the stand costing now so it looks like the major big companies can afford to pay, I did go to the Game Fair a few years back but on a free ticket same as at Blenheim, As many on here say you could not beat the Game Fairs of years past, I did try a Mini Game Fair at Highclere near Newbury but that was a complete waste of time, The Newbury Show in September is worth a look as is the Uffington White Horse Show, Saying this the Stalking Show in April look promising Edited January 23 by oldypigeonpopper
TIGHTCHOKE
I think the Stalking Show is the last one left worth looking at.
