moses
I love it My wife is from Tokyo so Japanese food is par for the course at home. I go to Tokyo once a year with the missus and the selection of fish over there is awesome.
AVB
Love it but occasionally go over the top and have to leave it alone for a while A
Baldrick
As Moses will attest, sushi and sashimi enjoyed on home turf in Japan is totally different from the flaccid, bland gunk often sold on the British high street.
Markio
Don't like fish full stop. Even the 'normal' fish a chip shop fish doesn't do anything for me at all.
Wookie
Adore the stuff. Could eat sushi till the cows come home and then some. One of my best nights out is sat next to the conveyer in a sushi bar with a bottle of sake and a stack of plates at my side.

Axe
I have never tried it to be honest. The thought of eating raw fish doesn't do anything for me at all. That is not to say I wouldn't try it if offered. I am sure freshly caught and prepared properly its thoroughly delicious.

MC
I meant Axe I love fish but down here we have the sense to cook ours. Living in one of the largest fishing ports on the east coast has it's benefits. Edited April 16, 2009 by MC

Salop Matt
The very thought of any shell fish makes me gag and sushi has the same effect. villent vomiting would follow any attempt to eat it ! At best cooked i can manage: cod or hake from the chippy, pollock, sammon and tuna. Dad catches trout regularly but i cant stand it. I wish i liked mackerel as i love fishing for them but i didnt like it when i was youger and cant bring myself to try it again and it always makes my tummy turn when i see smoked mackeral all yellow and split open
John_R
I love it, though it is indeed true that the UK does have some way to go to match sushi in Japan. I have found a few sushi spots in the USA that are pretty good, though they do have a tendency to really go for some **** sauces etc thinking it is somehow better that way. My faves are sashimi and nigiri really, where you can appreciate the true flavour of the fish itself.
