Lloyd90
Just wondering how the work is going guys ? A few of us here (myself included) were layed off a couple of months/weeks ago :( I myself have found some more part time work but still having trouble with anything full time. Also had some bad news that I have an eye condition that bars me from entry into the mililary was very gutted to hear this as I was in the final 6 up in RAF Cranwell's selection centre so I guess it's time to find a full time job now Anyways I remember some guys posting up about new jobs Hows everyone else doing ? Hopefully hanging in there What jobs you guys up to ? And Im wondering what jobs will allow you to take your dogs to work :( Id look at getting into keeping but I read alot got layed off n are looking for jobs :( Edited May 4, 2009 by Bigthug87

Bleeh
I, myself am an apprientce Gamekeeper - I've got a fair bit of experiance too, but I still really haven't got my nose in yet, I've sent of somewhere of the region of 20-30 applications to various jobs over the last two months, but to no avail. At the moment, though, I'm now keeping myself afloat by working in a private hunt stables, the work is outdoors, and I get to control the (plentiful) pests around the stables, so things are looking up. And the chap I work for is pretty high up the local hunt, so, with any luck, he might just prove to be an invauluble contact.

MC
I was made redundant just over a week ago and am doing some freelance draughting work. Not really ideal but I am working from home which has it's advantages and I am getting paid so can't grumble too much. There is quite a few less fortunate than me. MC
It wasn't really hanging over me as it came out of the blue. Still sitting in the conservatory with a laptop has a plus side over an hours drive to be stuck in an office for 10 hours. Just may have to cut back on the shooting a little (and only go 3 times a week )
Wookie
I'm busier than ever, and the job looks reasonably safe, but I thought that before we shed 10% of our company just after Christmas, so anything could happen I guess. I find out in June if I have a fallback...
MJN
MC, sorry to hear your news. As for me, we have just got the first branch of the project live in Sofia (Bulgaria), next is Prague (CZ), so it seems I still have work todo, but, where am I going to be, doing it, is another question, that I'm still waiting an answer for.
