  1. More restrictions/red tape to get a licence? Get stuffed-We should unite and fight the existing restrictions-attack is the best form of defence.
  2. Most of my family use Fuji and never had a problem of any kind-my daughter even won a competition with her second hand one (bought off this site) against camera,s costing far more.
  3. The new "classic" 525 sporter comes with the same engraving as the previous grade 3 and looks nice-just bought one and love it to bits-bought a Silver Pig first but sent it back as the quality is nowhere near the Browning i.e. I expect the safety catch to work on a new gun.
  4. Are you sure that its set for your eyes?-any parralax adjustment on it?These are in no way the best of the optics available but you should be ok for 200 yards with one-do they not have a 5 year warranty?-maybe return it to the supplier and try another.
  5. At the risk of sounding stupid here-how are you going to get it out of there???
  6. As Richard says-if its the marks at the top face above the top barrel then dont worry-when you come to sell it you can remove the ejectors and gently rub the face with a fine stone.,
  7. Beat all you early risers-didn.t get to bed at all-left home at 1 am for a 3 hour journey to leeds-set up and ready by 4:40-6 Geese and 6 duck finishede by 11:am-its now gone 2 in the morning so i'm off to bed-bin awake 28 hours.
  8. I normally trip over mine and stab myself in the face area as I stumble-any deaf/stupid rabbit still within range can then be shot prone whilst trying to avoid crushing my dangly bits on the poles underneath me-as a bonus it always amuses me how I manage to pinch my fingers between the sticks as I untangle them from my trousers and attempt to fold them.
  9. Phew!-thank god its the wood
  10. If its ok to allow cats to roam and hunt at will why cant the RSPB follow suite and initiate a breeding/release program for the European Eagle Owl-I,ve heard that they love cats so all should be well in the garden??
  11. Try RWS hv hollow points-but i think they are hard to find-Tewksbury guns ,I think, have them-if anybody is in that area maybe they could ask (and then get me 200 please!!)
  12. Compression?-or impression-dent? in the cylinder or woodwork-if its the cylinder I would consider it unsafe.
  13. How the hell can this action be compared to the Nazi treatment of these travellers?-I dont see any extermination camps being built-This is just a case of a Country that acts when action is needed and doesnt pussy foot about costing its law abiding citizens a kings ransom. These people do not contribute in any way to a system that they demand protects and serves them-throw them out and good riddance.Vive le France!
  14. After recently stripping out and replacing our entire kitchen the time came to replace the cooker. The other half searched for weeks till she decided on a model that was on offer whereby if you bought the cooker and extractor together you would get the matching splashback free.At first I dug my heels in and refused to part with that kind of money but eventually I caved in and agreed-she then rang to place the order only to be told that the offer had finished the previous day and the entire set was now £1700.As she was so upset when she rang and told me I tried pleading with the dealer who refused to budge. As a last ditch attempt I asked her to find the number for the manufacturer-this done I rang and explained the situation. The lady on the other end informed me that they didn't sell direct to the public but as my wife was so upset she would "fix" the paperwork to supply us the whole set as a replacement for an imaginary previous cooker. She would then invoice us for "repairs" to the value of £1047!!!.I cannot name the company for obvious reasons but a saving of over £600 deserves writing about-its unusual ,these days, to find a company willing to bend the rules for the benefit of a customer.
  15. That pattern would indicate that its been pressed against something-is the gunbag nylon lined?-im guessing its not fleece lined.Force some bits of wood as far down the case as poss to open it out and pop it in the airing cupboard for a few days-in the meantime get a silicone impregnated gunsock (under a tenner on fleabay) and make a point of covering your gun with it after every trip-hope you get the barrels sorted-i would be well miffed.
  16. With a shot count in the low 20's and a pump I dont think you could have chosen a worse combination-sell it to some poor fool and buy a decent gun or your future with airguns will be short lived-dont mean to be mean but i speak with your best interests at heart.
  17. OMG Harnser-I have experienced the exact same feeling-I was walking down the Aisle at the time.........
