All joking aside, few more write ups like that and I could see myself sitting reading a book full, dare I say, reminds me of Collin Willock and his easy reading style.

You need to speak to the buyers RFD and ask him if he is happy to receive your gun that you are selling to Mr ***. The RFD should agree not to release the gun until the buyer has viewed and you have confirmed that payment has been received. RFD fee should be paid and agreed by the buyer.

"Then I needed a wee and missed a flock of about 30"!! Now that's unsporting to say the least, use the gun man 🤢.

How many pricked birds? If the anti's are watching this they will have a field day.

Might be an idea to add a little Lime to the morter - our house was built with such morter and it's stronger than the bricks.

Well done indeed Sir, looks perfect.

Most likely the kindest thing you could have done - couple of them clearly suffering some form of nasty ear infection 🙂.

Pie in the sky ideas make me laugh - if those in charge forced the control of Squirrels on landowners then numbers of these vermin would decrease overnight.

Superb guns - most likely my favourite shotgun of my shooting career, well worth restoring.

Bit optimistic - think they're still happily married.

On a slightly different track - we have the East West line being built closeby at the moment and I often walk past one of their yards on my dog walk, NOT a racist comment but not one white man on site and never seen any of the 10-15 guys doing a single thing other than standing around chatting and smoking or asleep in their cars, somebody is paying through the nose for this.

The gun works without the safety + unless you need to fire 10 shots in rapid, why could you not index the mag by hand? Still quicker than cocking and loading a 95 I would have thought? All I can add is that my 2 S410's were both second hand when I bought them and were used heavily for at least 7-8 years without a single break down.

Amazon are doing 3 stage pumps for around £15 - just a heads up.

IMHO the HW's are let down by HC reputation for poor customer service - used to shoot with a mate on a Rabbit control job in Cambs and he was deadly with his HW100 - but after a couple of years it developed a leak and went back to HC 3 times and was never fixed - hand on heart , he gave it away and bought an S510 which he has to this day. The S410 suffers from being boring I think and suffers in sales because of this, but if you are not bothered by the lack of weaver rails or the attempt to look like something that G.I. joe would carry, then buying one is the best decision you will ever make.

Agree 100% but the AA guns just get on and do the job dont they? TBH Stu knows more about ballistics etc than I could ever know and he champions the BSA brand so they must be pretty good. I've had just about every gun available, apart from Ripley, and I just seem to have an affinity with the AA PCP's , had my first SM100 about 20 years ago and been smitten ever since. Made the mistake about 2 years ago of thinking that there must be something out there even better than the 2 S410's that I was using on a large vermin control perm for several years, sold them and bougfht a Wildcat. Now, dont get me wrong here, the Cat is a superb gun, but is it better than the S410 in the real world? NO - it's just different and more expensive.

Mil Dots confuse a lot of people? Are we talking about people who are hard of thinking here?
-
Think we may be in the minority here clangerman, Stu is p****d as a newt and I think and everybody else has failed to notice that their HW's are made from the same plastic as Airfix. If everybody bought an S510 there would be nothing to debate on these cold wintery nights.
-
To the doubters - try it, it's sublime.
-
To a man you've all missed the obvious solution.....buy an S510.

Dont think so, very rare when sexual self sufficiency prevails.

Nothing less than a public flogging, 2 hours compulsary listening to the Spice Girls and 2 bars of Ex Lax can forgive your error JKD.

"you're" welcome surely Stu - are you on the falling down water?

Can't stand the talentless tart, slept her way to the top, now the the fine.

Developed an addiction for Mackeson Shandy, am I alone out here?
