TBH Stu, I wouldn't trust Belas to tell me the time in a room full of clocks, the daystate magazine has, as far as I know, remained unchanged for many years and presumably the breach design? But I'm just shooting the breeze here, the only HW110 I had any experience with was stupidly accurate, ugly though and I glady bow down to your knowledge on this matter 👍.

Out a few days ago in -4C with no problems apart from my dangly bits no longer dangling. You could ask the seller to return the gun under warranty, got it in writing from my S510's previous owner that he would do exactly that.

Interesting debate, when I grew up in the 70's loads of lads in the village had guns and shot Rabbits etc (not legally most often), but nowadays I dont see anything like the interest in shooting or indeed the outdoors in the local youngsters - most can kill the enemy with a Barrett 50 cal as long as there's a screen in front of them but it makes me smile when I see kids being dragged outside for a walk by their parents, if looks could kill.

Any road alterations or path relocations going on near you? Those are surveyors stickers.

My landowners are now so desperate for Squirrel shooters that they have just given my neighbour free rein over the 5k acres that I shoot, on my recomendation alone!! Normally a 6 month membership to a local range and then a proficiency test by the range owner is required just for an interview.

I dont understand why anybody is cold when you can buy heated clothing for next to nothing, tops are around £16, trousers around £20 and a decent power pack under £20 - recharge the pack at night for pennies and you will be sweating all day, they even do heated gloves now for less than £10.

Switch to Octopus, best prices I've seen and they never hassle me for anything other than a meter reading if I forget for a couple of months. Companys pushing to fit meters annoy me, if they wanted to save you money why not offer cut price LED Bulbs?

After talking to my estate manager he assured me that, after speaking to the police and BASC, we are able to travel unlimited distances for essential vermin control. To be safe just speak to your landowner and confirm that he is willing to state that the work is essential if you are stopped.

Yes 2 stage and 16" sounds about right, dont bother with the heavy barrel, looks nice but you soon fall out with the thing once you have carried it a few miles, stupidly accurate though, printing around 3/4" at 100 yards (not with me behind it though!!)

At the end of the day no depravity is out of the ordinary for Norfolk, whilst there is no shortage of hairy ****d ,bearded old wrinklys with BO, at least some of the men are presentable.

My pleasure is similar. Mod1717HB

Once a year unscrew the thermostatic bit and you should see a pin sticking up from the valve, give it a bit of oil and pull it up andf down gently with a pair of needle nosed pliars. Hate those valves, complete waste of time IMHO.

Not my pennies, Goldfish, a nice charitable trust pays for the feed. Our owners do indeed use ex poison feeders but with a metal backstop welded around to prevent ricochets. The Squirrels pull out loads of feed before eating it but plenty falls on the floor, wonderful watching Nuthatches and the like mopping it up. Spoke to our estate manager re the new CO2 powered traps yesterday, the one set at the first feeder just over a week ago has been triggered once - I shot 4 there in around an hour.

Yes please, pm'd you.

Is that an Oxfordshire accent I hear?

So number 26 out of 26 shots fell to the S510 today but come number 27 and disaster struck - disaster being the only thing that did strike. The "Exact" resting place of the jsb is still unknown but it was not in Nutty's head where it should have been. A long discussion with the gun ensued where threats of joining the tools in the garden shed (along with the other hoes) or stippling the laminate stock with a rusty nail were bandied about but she retaliated by dropping 28 cleanly then 29 she really redeemed herself with the shot of the season. Hour and a half, 5 dead and snowing, not a bad afternoon.

I've always thought that break the law and you should expect no protection offered by it. Prisoners should be at the bottom of the pile and not near the top where human rights are concerned, no right to vote, no right to home comforets.

Now there's something you wont see very often - stunning.

Jesus wept - there's nothing taller than a frog between our bathroom window and the urals.

Dont think many ex council houses came with drying rooms !!! We use a condensing tumble dryer and a dehumidifier if needed.

I would have thought that it's a bit early to say that it has worked for us? Even the manufacturers of the vaccine seem to say that 3 months between doses is not good. I cannot help but think that half as many people taking the full dose is better than twice the people taking half a dose. Early days yet so .....

Not sure how wise it is to dry clothes indoors, the moisture has to go somewhere and could cause damp - if you have a dehumidifier they normally have a clothes drying function and would prevent this.

mel b3, sincerely hope your sister makes a full recovery, sometimes the pain felt by family members when a brother or sister is in danger is overlooked, she has my best wishes.

So Tuesday I shot 4 from one feeder and was pretty certain that was that for a while, as I left the feeder was still near brimming with Wheat. Txt this evening - feeder empty! as are 3 more within a couple of hundred yards and one more 75% empty at the far end of the wood!! All 3 woodlands checked today revealed heavy use on the feeders.Looks like decorating is going to have to wait a while.

Moving the selector should reset the trigger for the second barrel, or, as already mentioned, a thump on the butt with the palm of your hand should do the trick.
