  1. Will try and get some pics. As for Deer management I call their excuse a load of bullocks, in 2 years I have only seen 2 Deer and have not seen any signs of bark stripping, at one time, apparently, you could hand feed the Deer in the Car Park. It would take a couple of hundred head of Deer a good few years to replicate the carnage carried out by the (miss) Trust.
  2. Common for bottom pin to go first as the design of an OU tends to drag the lower pin against the primer before it either slides back or a spring pulls it back, replacing the return spring, which I believe the Citori uses, would be a good idea, replacement pins are cheap and a good clean in the pin hole would be wise in case a bit of oil has gummed up over the years.
  3. Slightly off topic but does anyone have any views on the Woodland Trust? In my humble opinion they are simply a lumber business masquerading under a charity name. One of our local woods was purchased by them in 1995 , since then they fell trees every 5 years, for no apparent reason, they sell Deer shooting and boast of their conservation work yet have not planted a single tree or created any habitat or nest boxes in all these years, they have destroyed the wood with their recent felling, TBH it nearly brings me to tears to see it now compared to just 5 years ago.
  4. Situation is only going to get worse as a new piece of legislation is afoot that demands manufacturers carry spares for at least 10 years in an attempt to curb our throw away society. What short sighted half wit thought this up, companies will simply increase the cost of spares further to cover their storage costs and thus make any repairs even more uneconomical.
  5. You couldn't make it up could you? BASC have lost their touch on reality.

    India

Cannot help but wonder how such a poor country manages to spend over £51 billion per year on it's armed forces, to my mind that's a lot of buying power for vaccines and Oxygen.
  7. Perhaps a little more research into the actual events that shaped Agincourt would be wise before calling it a victory.
  8. The OP AFAIK, has not mentioned the effectiveness of either calibre but rather questioned the price difference, besides, being in the states I'm guessing that power levels are far higher than in good old blighty so the parameters are different. I would say, after spending out for the gun why quibble over less £1.50 on 500 pellets?
  9. Starting at 29p I wasn't expecting much but thought I might as well give em a go.....planted 20 lettuce and 2 cucumber and, after 6 days, all but one seed has geminated, that's a far higher result than my usual packs at £2.99. If you do pick up cucumber seeds make sure you read the description, though, as some are for Gherkin type fruit.
  10. OK, so pretty much off topic, but I would really like to take this opportunity to show my appreciation for those guys on here that take the time to write a full and descriptive account of their forays, due to reasons that I will not bore you with I struggle to get out anywhere near as much as I used to, the snippets on this topic keep me going and, to me, are worth their weight in gold.
  11. SMK don't make the P-15, as you know, they are made by SPA or Snowpeak/Artemis, you know the one, the largest manufacturer of Air Rifles in the world with over a million units a year currently being made. Not sure about BSA sales, probably best to speak to their Spanish parent company. I really wouldn't concern yourself about an Artemis sullying your collection of BSA's, you would soon sell those old crocks once you had your hands on a decent Chinese built gun 😀.
  12. At the risk of repeating myself, the SMK P15 is under £400, it has a Titanium cylinder (the BSA, no doubt a Spanish steel el cheapo), will match the CLX IMHO in any test, is Regged and weighs slightly less than a Haddocks bathing costume, 100 shot before any noticeable drop in power, is like a Meccano set to work on, if you ever buy a CLX Stu, I'm happy to meet you for a shoot off....100 shots, pellets straight from the tin, 40 yards, winner takes the opponents gun?
  13. Unpopular Opinions.....mine that I'm a good looking sex machine.
  14. OPP, just google cop punches dog or look at Alex Belfield on youtube.
  15. So this is a Police Officer, a man supposed to be employed to protect the innocent and be caring of others, punching a Dog for pooing on his carpet. Why are the RSPCA not demanding that the dog is removed from this vile creature?
  16. Just about anything sung by Mirusia, Ave Maria can bring you to your knees.
  17. If I see anyone leaving their house to take part then I guess it's ok to go and walk all over their house and garden?
  18. A friend of mine grows loads from seeds every year, struggles to give them away hence me asking for one and receiving 4 (well 6 actually but I've given 2 away)
  19. Aldi have jet washes at £90, car shampoo is £10/5ltrs and a chamois around £10, soon make your money back.
  20. Same old Same old for me this year, got 4 baskets of fire going, they look amazing in the flower beds and at the end of the season I cut the chillies off and cut into 4-5 pieces and freeze them, great for adding heat to curry, burgers etc.
  21. We used to pull the top card off 9mm flobert shells and refill with No5 shot to shoot rats, I had a 3 shot semi auto and it would kill clean at 17-20 yards.
  22. My take on it is "how would anybody ever know who screwcut it?" As long as it's done properly and no damage is done to the integrity of the barrel then crack on.....
  23. My thoughts exactly Stu, but the OP has stated that the gun is not regged. The error does seem a classic Reg, either sticking/incorrectly set or a blocked vent hole, my money would be on a sticking O ring inside the Reg. I would get it to AirFective, for the £100 service the gun will be returned better than new but it's money I'm guessing.
  24. Still plenty around here visiting the feeders, problem now is that the peanuts are getting nabbed in 10-15 minutes by a constant stream of Nuthatches 🤥.
