  1. This years Britain's got Talent has been shelved.
  2. My daughter used her air fryer a couple of christmas's back to cook morning sausage and bacon rolls - most of us left the majority of the food on the plate.
  3. Not straight away - cos if you're not covered they will still record it as an accident - scumbags.
  4. Ship it to them wrapped in Bacon.
  5. If a Squirrel is taking regular birth control drugs is this not passed on to, say, a bird of prey if said bird eats the critter? Might be simpler to alter their mindset so they never even consider sex - my wife seems to have mastered it years ago.
  6. southeastpete - it's all in the mind m8, just try and laugh it off as the more you worry about it the worse it will seem - go with your wife or a bunch of lasses if you can and your bravado will see you through, after over 45,000 needles during my lifetime I'm still not a huge fan but it is NEVER as bad as you work yourself up to think it's going to be - ultimately it's no different to getting a splinter in your skin. Had mine Sunday, mild headache and Flu like symptoms for 24 hours but nothing to moan about. The clinic was well run with nearly as many helpers as patients but I was dissapointed to see that, as I swapped my place nearer the front for an elderly man who had mobility issues sitting near the back, nobody else seemed to care that he was in some difficulty and offered to do the same.
  7. I'm extremely vulnerable but it has not prevented me shooting at all, decorating, dog walking and poor health now that's a different matter.
  8. Nope - my doctors surgery do not converse with the renal unit 5 miles away - belive me I've tried. I have a lady comes round every 3 months to take blood for an Eprex level and the hospital agreed to pay the company to take extra blood during the previous lockdown, but no such arangement has been organised this time .
  9. Any local Air Arms dealer will most likely have a trained smith that will do the job - AA do training courses for dealers I believe.
  10. Neighbour 3 doors up from me went into hospital about 3 weeks ago with pneumonia - covid got him and he died late last week. MK hospital (where he died) are threatening to withdraw my meds if I do not attend for blood tests - something I normally do every 3 months but not since the first lockdown started - I've been on the same meds for 15 years but now they are forcing me into a dangerous position - going to ring PALS today and start an official complaint.
  11. Briliant - but mine was £9 new - think they've gone up to £12 now.
  12. Chambers do a complete washer/fitting kit, pretty sure you have to drill out the old rivet from inside the piston but you may be able to drift it out with a suitable length of steel, if not use the new pin as a drill size guide. Soak the washer overnight in neatsfoot oil.
  13. Reliability and spares prices - S510 but dont bother with the "R" - not worth the extra cost.
  14. Not a film but in the inbetweeners - caravan trip episode, Neil is seen sat at the table with a bottle of ketchup in his hand, 30 seconds later he asks if there's any ketchup.
  15. Take me a picture of said probe and point to the O ring.
  16. I knew you would bite - " your O ring ON the pellet probe" - the pellet probe has no O ring on it (as indeed some do) - it simply has a breach seal, the only O ring ON the probe is at the rear of the action.
  17. 30 Replies and not one person has expressed sorrow or shock that an elderly man has been strangled to death, bad reporting-yes, the possible ruination of a shotgun -yes. Jesus wept what have we all become (me included) when we read such stories then quarrel over the finer points.
  18. Not a hint of a crimbo card from him this year Mr.C - I'm dishing out retribution.
  19. Before you blow your trumpet too loud stu - the S400 probe doesn't have an O ring, just the breach seal 🙃.
  20. My GP Surgery takes payment before they will even pass the form onto the Doctor. Without wishing to BASC bash - this should be their can of worms to challenge surely?
  21. Yes please - pm me your bank details please.
  22. captsainhastings - try the wessex mill french bread flour, dont ask why but the bread stays moist for days. Oscarsdad - take the blade out after the final mixing.
  23. "Never used a machine, can't see the point" - cos I'm lazy!! I'm also drinking coffee and reading a book while you're up to your elbows in flour. PS - during last years yeast "drought", if you spoke nicely to the bakery at tesco, they would often give you a "lump" of fresh yeast. Aldi flour was great a couple of years ago but then the quality dropped like a stone - glad to see, over the last 6 months, that it's back on par.
  24. If you get a chance try Wessex Mill French Bread Flour - bread made from this stays fresh for days. Jim - I'm guessing you're doing something wrong as your dough is clearly not rising sufficiently. Try fresh flour, even the Aldi cheap stuff makes a decent loaf, put your liquid in first, use Olive oil instead of butter/marg (unless you use salt free), add everything else , minus the yeast, and fire up the machine. When mixing starts in earnest (3-4 minutes), sprinkle in the yeast and use a plastic scraper to scrape any dough sticking to the sides of the pan. You can also get flour improvers on the bay of plenty that will make your dough rise higher.
  25. Big fat one on the feeder in my garden today, rarely come anymore. Where was I? Upstairs, up a ladder with a trowel and plaster - could not have been further from my gun if I'd tried 🤬.
