  1. I repaired a kukari handle a while back, i used epoxy resin [ an industrial sized tub] and some pigment powder that we use for making wood stain. the good thing about the resin is that when it goes off it will take a dull polish so it doesn't stand out too much.
  2. hello chap! one peice of advice, never walk around a clay ground with your gun "closed" and out of its slip. you didn't say what gun you had, so, what you got?
  3. Fenland rural sports? I know he's a bit expensive.
  4. I think it's ok to have respect for your quarry and give it a sporting chance, but at the end of the day this is just pest control.
  5. opinions are fine, but bragging about deliberately breaking the law on a public forum is pretty stupid dont you think? anyone can read these posts. It doesn't put any of us in a good light and does none of us any favours with general public opinion on shooting sports.
  6. A friend of mine swears by his, uses them when greenlaning.
  7. I've got a tranny van and it's doing fine in the snow so far, had a laugh trying to get out of a car park before christmas tho, with all the other cars spinning they'd managed to polish up the ice a treat.

  13. its ridiculous! My local rfd makes about 50p on a slab, now gone up by 3-4 quid a slab. I know we've had a vat increase but this is taking the urine...
  14. Some benellis are fussy, mine wont cycle 2.5" cartridges. In the destruction manual it states that 2 3/4" carts should be used. also light loads can be a problem, mine loves 32g and above but has real problems with anything less. It's been to the gunsmith, also been back to benelli, nothing bent or worn out yet, just a fussy eater.
  15. clays - 24-28g / 7.5-9 birds- 28-36g / 6.5-4 rabbit 32g up / 5 min fox 36g up / 4- sg Only a general guide, gives you some idea.
  16. does the bath have adjustable feet? put a largish piece of ply over the floor boards and adjust the feet accordingly. Alternatively, make a " ladder" from some timber and fix under the centre of the bath, gripfill will hold it in place. I did this with mine as i was having similar problems. However, a bath will slump when its full of water anyway, so maybe re-sealing the bath is your best bet, remember to fill the bath before you apply the sealant tho.
  17. Typical! Don't you just hate it when that happens. good luck next time.
  18. Can you get him via your loft? grab his ankles and twist..
  19. I shoot mainly fibre as i'm shooting on ground with livestock, also on hay meadows, by the way, has anyone used eley vip game with the photo-degradable wad? I've got some and was wondering if they were any good.

  21. Just surprised how much thoe bolts were, i've got a few hundred knocking about in my shed which got left over from a previous job, all stainless 150mm.
  22. HOW MUCH!!!! Did you have to buy a special dispenser gun aswell, or does it fit in an ordinary mastic gun?
  23. if its died as a result of an injury i wouldn't, doesn't excessive adrenalin in its system do something to the meat?
  24. engine mount bushes wear quickly, coil packs always a big weakness, suspension linkages/ bushes, all very expensive to replace. had the heater motor go on one, cost £150 just for the part and was a bitch to fit.
