Its pretty harsh but i guess its better than being in contravention and having an accident at some point.

I am with you on this Chris. I am shooting many times a week and lots of shells in a semi. I hardly ever clean it and certainly not the barrels. I would rather shoot it than clean it.

Afraid I am one of those that does not clean my gun unless I have too. I only make sure its dry. If you are using oil make sure you remove as much as possible and store the gun barrel down to stop any residue running into the wood.

Got my eye on three in the field behind my house. . video showed they came for the bait at 1130 so set up on the kitchen window. They arrived over a 20 min period but skirted the bait. Me too. Just like the arrivals at some of the UK airports this time of year. Nothing like rushing off the plane through the endless airport tunnels to be greeted by a packed arrivals hall with 20 lanes pf people for just a few open border control points.

I now have there dive computer watch its excellent. Very tough and reliable.

Just driven out to a field today that was being hit as standing Barley. It was cut yesterday and I thought it should make some good shooting. Plenty of crop on the ground and not a pigeon in sight. Will leave it a few days and see if they come back, but try it for fox tonight.

I was trying to imagine how that might happen. It would seem credible for a Greek default and exit and from what I know of how the country operates could imagine them getting over it quickly. Its harder to imagine the larger Euro users being able to give up on the EU even if they wanted to. I suspect radical reform is more likely although the currency sharers would have to have some economic policy alignment. Its perhaps easier to imagine a two part new EU function with the currency sharers and the rest in a new type of alliance?

I have mine set up in my garden over staked crows. If i get some pics I will post them or try to at least.

And some of the farmers around here seem to mix them up old and new seed, barley and wheat. Barley and grass and so on.

Cant say as I notice the recoil for any of the shells (but i shoot no more than 32g with a self loader) i shoot with and certainly would not notice any difference between them.
