  19. hi malk only ever had the roe which i have shot myself, made a roe venison slow cooked stew last week, bloody lovely, just melted in the mouth. am back out on bucks next month again in scotland, happy days. P.S love your new avatar of Doddy, often seen him out and about in Liverpool.

  21. now theres a man who does not stand idle (excuse the pun) well done for putting the time and an old gun back into service. i have a cz 452 in 22,i barrel think is 24 and stock is a plastic fanatastic, wish id have bought a woody now. am looking at getting it chopped down to 16, i have a sak mod on it, did they chop and re thread for £30, is it moderated ? cannot see from pic. i had that 243 threaded for what would be a similar price. atb 7diaw

  23. loving the replies gents and have had a good belly ache at some of them. will try the water before bed thing as in the past i have just dropped on the couch and then in the morning had to face hangoverus monumentalus Arrrgghhhhhh!
  24. Dtchman think i will give the cup of oil a miss might result in the worst episode of the trots experienced by man! Belly i have tried the inbetween water thingy before but it soon goes out the window with me after the first couple, maybe need to pace myself. Sculley unfortunately i will have to sober up at some time. Graham would love to try the other in the morning but i usually cannot function, however surprisinglyit is the only thing that is awake the next day. i go to sleep in a bed and wake up in a tent! happy days. foxshooter i can never stay awake. keep them coming guys
