There's something wrong here... they are not far enough op north... too far from me to be economical to travel. No one down south ever sells ANYTHING. Good luck with the sale. There's definitely something wrong here. Perhaps the seller has been having too much Christmas spirit. Selling cartridges,??? Whatever next. They'll be selling guns next. 😁😁😆 Edit.. They might be offering guns for sale but none of them sell. No one buys guns off of here.

I thought that you had a slab of dog food available. 😄 BUMP

I've got load from way back when. Different world back then with lots of basic guns from people like Elderkins and the like for people to use as a tool and not a fashion accessory. -
GUBERNMENT and the rulers etc used to control the population by war, famine and pestilence. Human population is just like rats. When the thin veneer of civilization is scratched off it just like rats. Look at what happened in Saigon at the end of the Vietnam War or what happened in kabul when we pulled out of Afghanistan. WE PROMISED to help those who fought alongside us. And did we .,,, Nahh . And those that got out to Pakistan are in hiding under threat of being sent back to the taliban. And so why are we worrying about people who take drugs. Its their choice. I don't feel the need to rush out and get drugs.

Have you got the reloading kit for 28g

The speed /reaction time here in Kent is fast, so from this experiment we find that there could be different causes. It's very wet out there and it could be getting.... Into things? Recently we keep getting mini power cuts that last a few seconds to a few mins and the other day one phase went down from 9.30 until gone midnight, we were OK, next-door was out just after she had âlĺ of her Christmas food delivered. The next neighbour had power and freezer space so took it all in. We didn't know about her plight and it wasn't until the evening that we saw flashing lights and engineers up poles. Not a pleasant t time to be doing the job because it was thrashing down. SO; do an inter net speed test on the line and if you can safely check you voltage, see what that is.

I thought that it was called...BUILT IN OBSOLESCENCE...Another item that I have is a very nice eyeball webcam. For Windows. Not compatible with IMac. Shame, what a waste of natural resources.

I know how to waste loads of money....petrol. electric..council tax, water rates, car tax, tv license , general vat. The list is endless. MONEY DOESN'T EXIST. IT'S ALL SMOKE AND MIRRORS. Edit... The biggest Highway robbers are the councils ,,council tax theft. And the road tax... pot holes. Emission zone tax. Parking wardens. Oxygen thieves the lot of them. I just don't know what to waste my (the kings) moneyon next.
-
Remember... money does not actually exist. When / should you go to borrow money they don't actually get a bloke in a brown coat to shovel a few wheelbarrows of coin into the back of your motor AND every time you spread this coin to others THE GUBERNMENT get money in the form of taxes,,VAT. It's a constant rotary wheel. As in the song another day older and deeper in debt. You owe your soul to the company store. It really doesn't matter. You earn it, you spend it and you die....then you have to pay vat on dying.

We'll need a boat. Thrashing down most of today. Had a call out at 6am from son in law. Pitch black fast asleep. He'd taken the daughters car in to work to give it a run. He'd done 6 miles and it has thrown a belt. No alternator, no power steering diminishing battery power. Just had to get him off of the road as slowly and safely as possible. We'll recover it another day. Too wet to get into it now. It ain't much fun being bolted out of bed from fast asleep at 6am into a night storm

It's been stair rods nearly all day. Just stopped long enough for me to put the bins out. Roll on global warming. Still they'll be a hose pipe ban in a few weeks. I expect southern water will up the water rates to pay for more water storage in the summer and more sewage pumping into the sea. Oh and to pay for the millions in fines for pumping the sewage Into the sea and to pay out massive salaries and dividends

What is that white stuff. I have seen it very occasionally. Is it frost.? This morning there was a sort of frozen drizzle on the ca4s and the road. But it was all gone by 10 o'clock. I went out and checked her car out and ran the engine so that it was warm inside for her and the grandkids to go to a pantomime. When she came back this afternoon, fog had comedown a bit getting heavier until 1/4 hour ago when it has been lifting..a bit. IF we ever do see that white stuff, ( once in the blue moon) it is generally all gone by lunchtime. IF we do get the white stuff it could be the beginning of the end of the world as we know it and we might have to fly south,,,like.. to the canaries. Ps.. how do you know if there is too much space snow.? The dog disappears into the snow when it goes out for a poop. And you can't throw a shovel of snow up on top of the pile. Of snow. Not dog poop

Somewhere I have a betamax recorder + tapes, a VHS +a lot of tapes and a handful of the floppy discs and the smaller 1.44mb plastic bodied floppy discs. All of the 35mm film cameras. This last year I bought a new micro 4/3 rds digital camera. I do have a Sony digital video camera that runs a small CD. It was a lot of money. Top of the range at that time. 6 months later hard drives had made it semi redundant. Modern mobile phones take good images and video... but they ain't the same as a dedicated camera. It's like having a jcb digger. It was designed to dig holes and move soil. You could put the Mrs and kids on a sofa in the bucket but it ain't what it was designed for. The march of technology is relentless. As is fashion

Betamax...VHS.....BLUE RAY CD's. Old-school daarrling. As a result of redecorating a large collection of VHS tapes from the time of our kids have been consigned to the bin. Shame but no one want them. I asked the Mrs...how much did we spend on this lot. ????
-
Her, of higher authority decided that we were going to redecorated the living room. In the process cupboards and shelves were emptied out to move these units. In amongst these there were LOTS of vhs videos cds ( Disney type stuff ) now our kids don't want them and neither do any of the charity shops. They don't want books, picture frames. In fact they don't want much of anything. Now in amongst all this tech there must be videos , photos and all sorts of family stuff that will be lost to the tips etc now stuff is on hard drives , memory sticks and chips of all sorts. As going, going gone

My father used to bang on about national service. The system was broken right from the start. The cry of the weak and the corrupt. National service might have been OK in the cannon fodder days to be armed with a stick or pitchfork or just to keep the populace off of the street but what effective training could be given in two years, especially when a lot of it was wasted in pointless square bashing or junkers. How many of those actually said this is fantastic I'll sign on for x years. The vast majority counted down the days toget out. That's why it went to a professional army. I look forward to rational comments. For debate.

Laptops.. old school daarrling. It depends on what your doing with it. I don't think that you are the sort of bloke that is up to the axles in databases or spreadsheets. I've got a 28inch imac, a couple of laptops AND A SAMSUNG A7 PAD. And a lot of the time I use the pad for most things. Don't bother with the insurance. The laptop is a weight and HOT.

Or an offset foresight. Like a Swan neck crossover stock. Back when I was a kid all the catles were homemade. It wasn't until those horrible aluminium Milbro caties became available that you could buy one..... that I know of. They were horrible. The amount of times that my thumb clobbered by either the stone or the leather. The lads would comb the woods for suitable forks to cut for suitable ( strods) to make a world class catties. The Strod had to be strong enough to take the stress of the pull under loaded tension and the horns had to be thick enough to take a hole large enough to take the catty lastic without becoming weak. Then some people had a preference for a wide space across the horns whereas others liked to have a narrow set. The local bike shop sold 3/16 @1/4 sq lastic which was sold by the yard. The next thing was all the lads kept an eye out for those round stones. I never knew of anyone using Steel ball bearings. But some people were very accurate with selected stones. I did know a bloke who had a party trick of setting up 3 Swan vestas matches like a goal out of the top of the matchbox and shooting out the crossbar which ignited all 3 match heads with the burning crossbar flying through the air. A magic trick from about 20 paces. Ps.. the holes for the lastic to go through were burnt through with a rod hot meat skewer and rounded so that the wood didn't split and the lastic didn't get chaffed or cut on sharp edges.

So they didn't fly true then BUT if they did connect they did the biz.
-
Some were devotees of 3/16 others were 1/4 fans. A bit like shot and choke preferences. I couldn't use a catty at all. What I didn't know back then was about master eye. I am left master eye but I shot the catty right handed so I missed the can by about six inches to the left.

I THINK, that I have one SOMEWHERE and like all of the collections of that time like the Booke Bond tea cards and buble gum cards there was always a rare card.

Yesterday we lost the line but because our mobile signal isn't very good I couldn't determine if it was the landlines or the mobiĺe signal or what had happened. I went to the daughters house and they were out as well but they had some mobile signal and had got through to BT who said that it was a problem with the green box down in the village next to the exchange. An hour later the problem was sorted and we had full transmission again. Perhaps the rain had gotten into the system.
