Yeah, don't forget that it's us workers Darn Sarf that fund your weekly Giro cheques, you can't afford not to love us.

Cat.

I have to say that is probably the best post on this thread, a definete tea on the monitor moment.

Cheers Cat

If the event is anything like the banter on this thread, then I might even turn up

If its not the 21st of May I reckon I'll be able to make it as well, fancy setting up a car share to cut down on the diesel bill as it must be all of 20 miles up the road ;)

p.s Northerners you do know after the budget fuel duty is set to go up again

Only if the year after we can have it at JC Marshs in Stockton for real Northerners!

come on even the northern members close to watford gap are still going to moan about the distance of that one

for the rest of us do we need any jabs etc when going that far on holiday ;)

Don't know about jabs but if you're not used to smog you may need a gas mask as its not far from Middlesborough :yp:

Surely you'll be going Martin. Nobody folds raffle tickets like you mate :good::good::lol::lol:

Would love to mate, but its just too far. Id have to stay overnight and thats not an option at the mo. Both my in-laws are on deaths door, and i dont want to leave Mrs MM overnight in case something happens. The way my luck goes..........

I would really like to attend and I fully support the idea - what better way of lifting the public's view of shotgun users than to support charities - especially if we can get the publicity with it.

However, at 430 miles round trip for me from Wiganshire its too far.

I would sooner hold a separate day in the north and give the diesel money to the charities - about £60!

Surely we northerners could organise a separate day at an equivalent ground around say Manchester or Leeds

What do you think?

It won't be though Gary will it,

The northerners have a presence on this thread, but judging by their whinging they won't have one at Sporting Targets

It would be a trek from S.Wales but if we could get 3/4 to a car probably not too bad for a day out 3.5 hours but a tricky route. at the moment i could do any of the days so will wait till one is chosen before trying to firm up arrangements, an idea of cost, start time, charity, format would be good, Just sporting? after 4 hours in the car to shoot 60 sporting and go home would be a bit disappointing!

I would imagine the cost will be between £40 - £50, (includes Charitable donation?), the start time will probably be about 10.00am, the charity is still TBA, the format will hopefully be a 100 bird round of English Sporting over a minimum of 12 stands?

The shoot will also probably be squadded, hopefully the Ground staff will allocate squads of max 6 persons as people book in?

Hopefully the ground will also run a pool shoot / warm up stand..??

It's not my favourite ground, a flat field with a few earth banks and a couple of towers, also it's a bitch to get to, and the targets are never very exciting, but they do have a nice clubhouse, and they sell ammo at the ground.

But, hey ho, it's all for a good cause, I hope..?? :good:

Cat

Missed last years shoot how much and how many will it be?

When they settle on a date Boris fancy sharing a lift?
