kent
you seem to have a lot of corvids over there mate, well done with the reductions. the fac rated rapids are a great tool having one myself but getting close enough to so many of them bird takes some doing still

activeviii
My God! FAC air did that??? didnt think it would kill a tyre that well. looks like when it blow up it took some magpies out as well. :yp:

ack-ack
I'd have been well happy snuffing those magpies. I cant stand them, they just hammered one of my nest boxes that had a brood of bluetits in it and killed one of the tame collared doves in the back yard. Nice shooting Tex. southeastpete
wow, youve really been hammering those corvids, nice job. what ft/lb are you running, and what range does it give you? cheers, pete
sitsinhedges
Nowt more pleasing than a few dead magpies
Daveo26
How many of those could'nt you shoot with a 12 ft/lber??
Daveo26
I've got a slot for .22 airgun. The reason was that Iv shot air rifles since I was 12 and I "Know" them. But since I started shooting .22LR and .17HMR the only advantage I can see with an air rifle is taking birds out of trees is possible (where safe) What puts me off is the charging gear req. as I think it needs to be precharged to get the best out of FAC air And the cost of a quality PCP to buy. As it is Iv got a .22LR and am buying a .17 but Im not convinced about the FAC air. I would be very interested in your thoughts as someone with experiance Edited May 16, 2011 by Daveo26

the enigma
Nice shooting lads......... good to see plenty of magpies in there and a few greys. FAC air really are the biz around a yard.
tweedledee
yes i agree the precharged may be expensive to buy, but after the inital outlay how can 9 quid for 500 shots be bad.i have a 22lr which i`m going to sell as i would prefer the fac air. clinical shots every day at 70ms when i do my bit.don`t let cost put you off. and yes they are fantastic for round yards and shooting into trees.
