Vipa
I quite like Top Gear but the Indian special has left me a little cold... It now seems to be the same formula as 'Idiot Abroad' only less funny, more embarrasing and much less respectfull to the population and culture of the country they decide to inflict themselves on! Poacher
only saw abit of it, but have to agree Top Gear has got abit stagnant. The Christmas specials are the only episodes where there's not a race between some flashy car and a useless mode and transport. You'll never guess how close each race is
Muggins.
It needs rebooting................. Without Clarkson at the helm.
shaun4860
It was rubbish, as was last years. you knew exactly what was going to happen with the food on the mini/food in clarksons car. clarkson buys a present that wont fit in car (vietnam special) Wreck cars (most specials) Best ones imo were Arctic/Namibia/Vietnam/Botswana/fuel economy challenge the rest have been ****, they now think they are bigger than the show. the mini in this years cost up to £7k, was one of the last mk1's made, Mini Cooper sport with John Cooper signature strip on bonnet, looked a mint one and they wrecked it. not exactly car enthusiasts are they Edited December 30, 2011 by shaun4860
smig4373
It needs rebooting................. Without Clarkson at the helm. :stupid: As for the 'races'....funny how the camera crew are always in front...its all in the editing.. Mk1 Man
It needs rebooting................. Without Clarkson at the helm. Yes, I must agree...Clarkson just comes across as an annoying fool with his schoolboy antics..which just aren't funny. Having watched the Indian Christmas special I felt it was pretty mediocre and fell along way short of all the others. Maybe it's time to pull the plug. Mungler
Same old same old..... It looks and feels really dated now. But then again what else is there? The whole TV programming schedule wants looking at and shaking up.
Gnome of the Woods
:stupid: As for the 'races'....funny how the camera crew are always in front...its all in the editing.. Never believe anything you see on TV! I was working there a few years back and the stig spun a Lotus twice whilst doing a flying lap, it broke on the second spin! Funny none of that ever made the programme!
Markio
Saw 5 minutes of it mid way through (didn't realise it was on) and found it all rather embarrassing. Turned it over. Normally a fan, but even by their standards it was way to forced.
rimfire4969
To be honest the whole Christmas tv has been fairly sh!7, a couple of good programes but not many.
UKPoacher
I agree with the above comments; It is like a sick dog where you can see it predictably deteriorating every time you see it. This year's Christmas Special was embarassing. I turned off well before the end. Time for euthanasia I think.
bruno22rf
Tend to agree with most on here-it was same old same old but then what else was on over christmas?-to my mind the biggest loads of ceeerap was the David Jason thing-what a painfull excuse for entertainment that was defo the worst year ever and hard to justify paying the licence fee. imissalot
I enjoyed it and my son thinks top gear is the best ,he is only ten ,best bit was the red hat he had on DONCASTER ROVERS
ack-ack
I'd rather watch my house burn to the ground than watch that whack.
Cosd
Don't watch Top Gear any more, The show used to be about cars, was easy viewing and some light humour thrown in, I think now it's less about cars and more about the presenters and how funny they can be. Not for me any more I'm afraid.
Paul T
Top Gear has got a bit like the bloke at the office who constantly breaks wind - funny the first few times, but week-in week-out you end up wishing they'd just **** off somewhere else with their irritating habits. Personally, I think it's time to ditch the big clown and 'Wipe Out' the Leprecaun and find some fit posh totty (with big headlamps) to sit up alongside Mr May . (PS: I've just moved jobs so no longer have to work surrounded by a fetid cloud )

Scully
Must admit it wasn't as good as I hoped it was going to be;not a patch on most of the other 'specials'. Some of their 'jinks' are becoming predictable but I'll stick with it 'til something better comes along.Judging by some of the utter ****e it has to compete with I may be waiting a long time. Still makes a welcome change from garbage such as 'I'm a has been, get me a job at Iceland' etc.
