Asa Bear
Mate you're not going to the opera you're going to the theatre to watch an Andrew Lloyd Webber musical. Wear what you're comfortable in. Not cammo though, shirt & trousers should suffice. I hope you enjoy the show.

AVB
Don't listen to the heathens on here. You should wear 'white tie' and a suitable ball gown for your girlfriend. To not be put off when you see other people dressed less formally staring at you. You will be able to sit there smugly knowing that you have done the right thing. As mentioned though you will be disappointed in that you are not actually going to the opera but instead a musical. Enjoy it anyway.

huffhuff
As above, you're going to the theatre. Not the opera. Jeans and shirt will do. You'll be in their with loads of foreigners on holiday. They will be dressed casual. I went the the other week - its actually a good show (I was surprised). Maidment78
Shirt and smart trousers and shoes are fine, gets quite warm in there so you may cook in a suit, remember to pre order drinks for the intermission, very very important, they will leave them for you to collect and saves queuing. Enjoy,

Cosd
Dress code will vary from jeans and t-shirt to dinner suit and dickie bow. What else are you going to do? Personally I'd make a bit of an effort at least and wear trousers and shirt. It's a great show, enjoy!
