not sporting at all.

anyone doing it in the name of sport are "not right"

:hmm: :hmm:   Sport, being bred, fed and kept in an area, being scared into taking flight in the direction of guns....... who shoot some of the easiest targets possible is Sport!

But shooting them on the ground isn't. :hmm: :hmm:

Look, I have no criticism/problem with Pheasant Shoots, but some people bandy the word Sport around with ease, perhaps you could define the word for me!

:good: :good:

sometimes I wonder whether people ever actually have much experience before posting, decent pheasants take a lot of beating and they can be far from the easiest targets possible.

Ha Ha, I shoot and beat on 100% the most prestigeous shoot in the UK, no money will ever get you a place, you need an invite, I said some, as always some birds are tricky. And I hold with my original statement...."some of the easiest targets possible in Sport!" :good:

...why would you want to?

"....well, I was strolling around with my .243 after the deer when I saw one on the ground that I fancied, so I thought I would shoot it there rather than putting it up and testing my skills in the air!"

:good: :good:

Dekers, aren't you the man who shoots geese with a rifle in the name of crop protection?
