Hi guys

I've got a new ish car and the windscreen is covered in some form of grease coating, i've tried all manner of glass cleaners to no avail, and its getting unbearable especially in the wet at night ( the screen turns into a blurry mess every time the wipers move) has anyone else had this problem and, more importantly a way to fix it?

Best thing to use is a cleaning solution called TRAFFIC FILM REMOVER ****** EXCELLENT RESULTS......

you can get it from pound shops in a aerosol spray or in a liquid but needs to be diuted by 60% water to 40% traffic film remover

All haulage / Transport companies use it to get through the grime and salt

also excellent on all UPVC but dilute 80% water

Some supermarket glass cleaners like Mr Muscle contain a "polish" that leaves a greasy residue that is the devil to get off. If anything like that has been used on it in the past it stays on there forever.

I was told by somebody in the know that the Tesco's own brand 'clear' is the best to use.
