But just want some advice off actual users, would you say pumps suffer less faults and cycling issues than modern semis or are the semis catching up in terms of reliability. I have a spare slot for another S1 shotgun on my FAC that will probably be filled by a pumper when I've managed to squirrel enough funds away. Had a little bit of stick for going for a pump as my first shotgun , as I was advised to get an O/U for safety reasons. But I also needed something to be guaranteed to shoot steel as my shooting partner often feeds what he has shot to his hawks. So a cheap pump action seemed a good choice as in my head it should be more reliable and safer than a semi. Here it is , Hatsan escort pump ex display.
