Sx3 clay breaker
Hi all went on a fox drive last night we only did one drive and I stood where I usually stand out right from one of the woods thinking nothing was about to come out how wrong could I be a fox cub came walking up a drainage ditch to my right about 5 yards and stopped dead in line with me first shot hit but gave him another for good measure :fox no 2 for me this year Fox number 2 was at about 10 o'clock one person sat looking over the other field with the rifle and I sat along a hedge was there about 2 hours and was watching what I thought were fox cubs about 200 yards away in a tractor rut then I looked across the field and there was a vixen about 250 yards away going across where I was so I started calling softly and she came in to about 10 yards in about 15 seconds and stoped just As i put the gun up she started to turn and was about to run but a fiocchi 63 gram 0s in her chest stopped her in her tracks my heart was racing its the first one I've called in on my own and many more to come hopefully :fox number 3 for me this year Rgds scott Edited June 19, 2013 by Sx3 clay breaker

bumpy22
well done scott .with a lot of practice you will be able to change the pitch of the call. Then you will realy keep yourself busy with the gun
Sx3 clay breaker
Thanks mate it was a best fox call I can call on my hand but as they been called in like this before I didn't want to risk it so I have a hight pitch but quiet squeak and she cover that 250 down to 10 yards in about 15 seconds
aga man
nicely done scott. if you have got a few foxes about get gatehered around the rape when it gets swathed/combined, sure to be a few in there with phesant and partridge chicks about the only good fox at the moment is a dead one. B B
Well done that man, nothing like killing foxes however you do it i have not called with a shotgun for about ten years now i think you have inspired me to start doing it again driving field in to the early hours means you are tired at work the next day if you are not carefull, this is far more sociable.
