ditchman
ouch !.........was down on the clay range last year with my so called mates ...and one of then slipped a couple of rottweil into my crtridge bag........my sidexside is only 6lb 9oz and i pulled the trigger .............needless to say i was left with a vicious bruize and my so called mates falling about laughing on the grass dont think there is anything wrong with the cartridges, just make sure your gun is the right weight to handle them...or you weigh 15stone plus........ mungolee
I Didn't find the kick off of the gun a problem, I was using a baikel o/u full & 3/4 choke. Just the crack off some of them seemed pretty damn loud. As for being 15 stone + , I think I'm ok in that department . Ml

escortmagnum999
I used some Rottweil cartridges when I first started shooting, they were a trap shell, 7 1/2s I think, I thought they were great thb, had some cracking days on the crows and pigeons with them and I don't remember them being too bumpy. JDog
I used to shoot nothing else but Rottweil in my early shooting career having inherited 500 from a German who was shooting grouse with me and who couldn't take them back on the plane. They were very quick and suited me very well. I went off them when they became very expensive relative to other cartridges. Other brands also caught up with them in terms of speed etc.

wymberley
Half a size up on ours, so you've got some very nice rabbit/pheasant and also pigeon cartridges.
IEH
I really liked the brown cased Game 32, would still buy these as my cartridge of choice if I could find any
fieldwanderer
I used to use nothing but rottweil 30g 5s (uk) had to stop when I got a semi auto though - they were green and I spent more time searching for empties than I did shooting!! I still find the odd one each winter when everything dies back, despite my best efforts and having not used them for what must be 5 years now. They were genuinely very good but did tend to kick a bit more than others.

wymberley
Sorry to resurrect an old topic but I'm after a slab of tigers if anyone knows a supplier Google World Sporting (WS). You can pretty much ignore the listed dealers on the RUAG (importers) website - every RFD seems to be listed but in reality.......... I buy mine from WS but in quantities to make their delivery charge economic. Mine are delivered direct from RUAG and as I order via the 'net I can't quite remember where they're based but have a feeling they might be in your neck of the woods-ish. fortune
I shot Rottwiel club 20. My mate and I bought 20 bore's at the same time and we both thought that these were better cartridge than anything on the market at that time. We shot everything with these cartridges. Suddenly they got expensive and no one stocked them anymore. If my mate and I knew that this was going to happen we would have ordered 10,000 of them. They were that good.
