So I signed up for a 8 week trial of a product, at no point was I told I would continue reciving said product after this time, just got a email saying order has been processed and delivery details. Where do I stand? If I send the product back will I get a refund due to distance selling regulations?. At no time was I made aware that they would repeat the order on a monthly basis and I haven't signed anything.

I would immediately cancel any payment mandate or bank card details you have provided and write to them by recorded delivery cancelling any further deliveries.

those that have been delivered I would eat, as if its the company I think it is you will be very lucky to receive a refund in any sensible timescale

If you have provided debit card details ring your bank and cancel the card and ask them to send you a new one.

Good luck

It usually makes the terms clear on offers such as this-if you do not contact them within the 8 week period and cancel the contract then you are deemed to have agreed to a full years contract. If its a decent company then the terms would have been on the initial order form-it may not have been in 6 foot high letters but it will be there somewhere.

I have cancelled on their website, payment hasn't been taken from my bank account yet, delivery is expected tomorrow, I didn't set up a direct debit and their is no direct debit showing on my bank account. They have basically held my details and 're-ordered. The initial order form was only to select the meals you wanted and then process payment details. I wasn't and haven't since seen a contract or it's details. Not even in the initial pack they sent me.

I thought you had said goodbye forever to pigeon watch, and you would never be logging on again? Welcome back :good:

If you didn't authorise the transaction on your debit card then ring your bank and tell them. They will refun the amount pending enquiries. And cancel the card stopping any more transactions. If they took the money early then it's unauthorised and should be sorted for you.

Had a similar thing with my mums car insurance. As I paid the deposit for her then they tried to take the full amount when she cancelled it 8 months later. As they keep the details for my card :/

got it back and near on right away. :)
