Frenchieboy Posted November 15, 2013 Report Share Posted November 15, 2013 Well it was a toss up between going out with the .22 and lamp for a few rabbits or staying in and watching the football tonight. Being as there are half a dozen bottles of Hobgoblin in the cupboard and there is very little wind or cloud with a fairly bright moon outside can you guess what won? I'm not big on football and certainly don't think of myself as any sort of a "Football Pundit" but I do occasionally enjoy watching a good game. Germany could really stuff them,but wait more of the failed old guard will prob make an appearance......truly awful bunch of overpaid prima donnas........ toontastic Posted November 16, 2013 Report Share Posted November 16, 2013 No doubt we'll get the same old excuse about too many foreigners playing in the premier league, I think a bigger problem is a lack of our players playing abroad. They don't get to experience different styles of football and develop their skills. Why is that, are English players too greedy or just simply not good enough to grace other leagues. Watching England play football is like watching F1( with the exception that F1 drivers earn and deserve the vast sums they are paid) as I used to always sit down with great expectation and end up bored and disappointed.
