fella
So, my week has consisted of the head gasket going in my pride and joy Subaru, breaking up with my miserable girlfriend, and now this takes the biscuit - Someone has stolen my doormat. Honestly, the other doormats in my apartment block were left alone, so why was mine so bloody desirable????? I suppose I've got my health... fella
I like how this is more of a inconvinance than splitting up with your miserable girlfriend She claims I can't communicate, i don't know what she's on about. She's only become miserable since I dumped her. So after this happened I did my own CSI work - the fibres from my precious doormat led to outside of the apartment block, putting an end to the chance it might be an inside job. Subsequently I've interviewed a few of the neighbours (one of them i nearly had to handcuff to a radiator she was so evasive) and subsequently all fingers point to the occupants of a house across the road apparently. No one has seen them do it, know one knows if they did it, but they're new so they must have done it. I've been and had a look outside the front door, no sign of my mat. I'm yet to decide whether or not its worth climbing the fence to check the back door.

Fisheruk
Why do you need a door mat anyway you've wiped your feet on the carpet before you get to it.
Dave-G
You could put up a lost mat notice in your local post office - have you got a photo?

four-wheel-drive
I have to think that perhaps you need to get a life as it is not good to spend so much time worrying about a door mat. :whistling:

I don't want to rush into anything, we knew each other for 5 years before it came to an end. I'll just have to take my time and find another mat just like it.
