Stick with it  windy days make for an interesting days sport! If you shot 50:50 it would soon get boring.

Surely spending a day with like minded people, enjoying a day shooting would get your spirits up! Is there nobody down you way can spend a few days out with you now and then!

Don't pack it in Richard!!

I miss more than I hit when I am on the clay ground and when I'm out metal detecting I mostly find scrap and buttons but I I will not give up either as they are my blessed relief from the day to day grind and I look forward to being able to do them at my leisure when I retire in 3 years time, Grim Reaper permitting...lol!

I envy you your longevity and the opportunities you have to enjoy our sport.......don't waste it!!

Eric.

Richard, my shooting buddy and I were also roost shooting yesterday. We too missed more than we hit. We are blaming the weather and not our ages, we got a good soaking into the bargain. Still drying all of the gear out ready for next Saturday. We went on our usual clay shooting foray last Wednesday, doing 100 sporting and getting another good soaking. We met up with all of the other OAP's some of whom are 5 or 6 years older than yourself. If you are still healthy enough to be able to get out and still enjoy what you do, then DO IT.
