DRWC
I have to agree with the Crowman - I have a very nice sbs that stays in the cabinet, the Escort comes out 90% of the time and gets knocked about, but who cares? I've had no problems with it at all. Maybe I just got lucky and have a good one.

kiffy
i had an escort and not a very good one t osay the least (cycled 1 in 3 carts) swapped it for a benelli sbe2 and couldnt hit anything so swapped it for a beretta and im doing so much better... way more than i wanted to spend or could afford but a very worthy investment.. roll on wildfowling season! steve_b_wales
My Escort is the 8 shot FAC version, and in more than 5 years, I have had no trouble with it. This is because I only use 70mm cartridges and always make sure that I keep the gas piston/vents clean.
fenboy
Swapped my Escort for an Beretta Extrema and wished i'd kept the Escort So why not sell the xtrema and buy two more Escorts then ?

kiffy
i know escorts arnt all as bad as people make out, yes you may get issues compared to berettas and brownings but your also paying considerably more... my escort was a dog i got ripped off but i know people, steve_b for example who doesnt get a problem
Rexcernui
Im going to get a hatsan I think. Or perhaps a revo. I know some hate them but others seem to love them. Worth a try I think.
motty
Swapped my Escort for an Beretta Extrema and wished i'd kept the Escort May I ask why? What's wrong with the Beretta? Edited July 9, 2014 by motty
wraivi
I had a escort 3.5" xtreme max, never had an issue, used it on clays, pigeon, and wildfowling. Had the opportunity amd went for maxus synthetic, sold the escort and after a few outings, realised I had cocked up.Loads of jamming & Dissapointing internals and the finish was no better than my hatsan. Maxus now sold too, great gun but not for me. Point I'm making, if you get on well with what you have.....don't fix it if it aint broke! grasshopper
Please tell us why? Or is it April the first??? I shot better with the Escort i payed £300 for than the Beretta i payed nearer £1300 for. sold it to 1 of the farmers i shoot for and it's still going strong. It was a 5 shot and no problems with it jamming. lovely gun,i just can't seem to get away with it...so much so it's only had about 60 carts through it from new. Time to dust it off and try again maybe So why not sell the xtrema and buy two more Escorts then ? Why..can only shoot 1 at a time
